My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
ich heiße Mitchel,

I'd like to think I'm the renaissance man by having interests in art, SCIENCE, music, philosophy, literature, poetry, and dance. My ideal day is starting some activity in the mountains like hiking or snowboarding and ending it in the city with a laser show or ballet or show and drinks. I drive ... and pollute. I have a decent list of all the best food places in Seattle. GGG.

I practice vipassana meditation. I'm direct and honest in ways that surprise others. Qualities I value: honesty, kindness, and those who critique themselves.

ENTJ. The natural born leader stuff is a bit overblown but otherwise this definition is uncomfortably accurate. http://www.personalitypage.com/ENTJ.html

I'm blood type O-neg, which is obviously the most important thing to know about me.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I just graduated from law school and am taking a little break while I look for work.

I recently joined the Seattle Bouldering Project (my fingers!) and am reading the Uplift science fiction series.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
debating and arguing, um duh! I used to drive for UPS so I'm really good with addresses and directions.

I'm good making friends quickly in new environments and making awkward situations more comfortable.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Beard and/or smile.

Citizen Cope ... us white guys aren't exposed to enough female vocalists, so I try to balance that out where I can. Have any recommendations?

Food: Mexican, Thai, Greek, Chinese, sushi, Trinidadian (Pam's on the Ave), whisky - despite my best efforts I still don't like olives
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
non-essential list:
clean socks
guitar tuner
floss
Hot sauce (Frank's Extra Hot, Sriracha, Tapatio)
meditation cushion
two pillows
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I think very much in the moment, but sometimes I daydream about my future. As a professional hazard, I think about the law and do a lot of legal analysis, but the law is just one part of me.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out with friends, going to the bar. Pam's and Pies and Pints.

On Sundays it's Game of Thrones and Cosmos with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've done three 10-day silent meditation retreats. At the end of my first retreat, my roommate told me that I shouted out "BOOTY!" in my sleep. My second retreat, I was half awake and unintentionally spoke out loud, "It's a damn conspiracy," and my roommate immediately responded, "I totally agree." I guess he and I were on the same wavelength.

When I'm stressed I sometimes drink scotch and build a lego.

I don't expect every date or contact to become a relationship but I do expect those who contact me to be open to the possibility.

Pro tip: Don't ask new lawyers what area of law they want to practice.
