My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
ich heiße Mitchel,

My ideal day is starting some activity in the mountains like hiking or snowboarding and ending it in the city with a laser show or ballet or show and drinks. I drive ... and pollute. I'm shrewd and direct and some are intimidated by that. GGG. I practice vipassana meditation. I went to Sasquatch and go to shows regularly.

Qualities I'm looking for: kindness, honesty, intelligence, a drive to explore, activism, and those who critique themselves.

ENTJ. The natural born leader stuff is overblown but otherwise this definition is uncomfortably accurate. http://www.personalitypage.com/ENTJ.html

I'm blood type O-neg, which is obviously the most important thing to know about me. I'm also the mid kid and orange is my favorite color.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I actually haven't moved back to Seattle just yet, I thought it'd be in May/June, but I hit a setback in the form of working weekends.

I'm newly admitted to the Washington bar; I work at a law firm in Snohomish county and love my job.

I was a member of the Seattle Bouldering Project, but I'm looking at climbing gyms a bit north. If you know a good bouldering one in Lynnwood/Everett, let me know.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Debating and arguing, um duh! Call me out if I'm cross-examining you ... sometimes that shit is hard to turn off. Oops! I used to drive for UPS so I'm really good with addresses and directions.

I make friends quickly in new environments and am decent at relieving awkward situations
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Beard and smile

Food: Mexican, Thai, Greek, Chinese, sushi, Trinidadian (Pam's on the Ave), whisky - despite my best efforts I still don't like olives
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
non-essential list:
clean socks
guitar tuner
floss (I'm known as a notorious flosser to my friends)
Hot sauce (Frank's Extra Hot, Sriracha, Tapatio)
meditation cushion
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I think very much in the moment, but sometimes I daydream about my future. As a professional hazard, I think about the law and do a lot of legal analysis, but the law is just a part of who I am.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out with friends, bar hopping. I usually get out to Seattle on the weekends to my favorite haunts.

On Sundays, it's board game and dinner with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
At the end of my first 10-day meditation retreat, my roommate told me that I shouted out "BOOTY!" in my sleep. My second retreat, I was half awake and unintentionally spoke out loud, "It's a damn conspiracy," and my roommate immediately responded, "I totally agree." I guess he and I were on the same wavelength.

When I'm stressed I sometimes drink scotch and build a Lego

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
**Don't star rate me, send me a message. I get too many star ratings for me to follow up on and I'm much more likely to follow up on a message**

any multiples of the following ...
you can get through a date without looking at your phone
are easy to laugh and smile,
have somewhat of a thick skin (good idea because I can be shrewd)
and you aren't a religious fundy (mandatory)
you meditate! (not mandatory)

I don't expect every date or contact to become a relationship but I do expect those who contact me to be open to the possibility. Let's just have fun and see what happens. Also ... this is kind of awkward, but I uh distinguish between "short-term dating" and "casual sex."
