I'd like to think that this comes across to people as a
deep-thinker and radical intellectual, but you'd probably just
think I'm wayward and odd. Oh, well. I'm rarely the life of the
party; I'm much more comfortable with a few of my close
friends.
My other passions are
literature and
photography. The former is something
I would gladly devote my life to and it influences the very core of
my being and everything I do. Photography for me is a source of
expression. I love trying to communicate through pictures. And,
like literature, it's an infinitely complex process that I can
happily never conquer.
Cars are also very important to me. I grew up loving them, continue
to love them, and even had a small automotive-related business for
a short time.
I moved here from Florida a few years ago, generally stick out like
a sore thumb. I'm an atheist, I support gay rights, yadda yadda.
But I am not devoid of manners. Consider me a Yankee gentleman.
Now in Latin
Meus Latine verba sunt minor!
I'm a junior at CSU, majoring in English literature. Once I
graduate, I plan to continue on to graduate work. Then I'd like to
teach overseas for a few years or join the Peace Corps. Whatever
the outcome, I will NOT live in Columbus forever.
My dream job would be cult leader, but I'm not sure if I'm cut out
for it. A close second would be a tenured professor at a
prestigious university or an accomplished (read: expensive)
photographer.
If you need a Deconstructionist or Queer Theory analysis of Waiting
for Godot, I'm your man! But, you probably wouldn't be interested
in that, would you? Hmmm. Well, beyond the aforementioned, I dabble
in a little cooking. I'm not always in the mood, but when I am I
enjoy it a lot.
Contrary to the usual profile of an English major, I'm pretty handy
and electronically savvy. Yes, my synthesis of opposing nerd skill
sets is impressive.
I'm short, and 1/4 Japanese.
In no particular order

with friends for our weekly movie night.
I'm not really looking for an internet penpal; dating isn't easy in
this weird little town, and I'm genuinely seeking an emotionally
significant connection. Friends are invaluable, but I'm looking for
someone to really share the experience of life with.
