Self-summary, hmmm...let's see...I am not a club person. I like laid-back bars best.
I am constantly reading and should own stock in Half-Price Books.
I like to see shows at small venues like Schubas, Empty Bottle, Hideout, or Subterranean.
I love baseball. Other sports are okay. In the summer I play on a couple of softball leagues. Is that because I'm an amazing player? No-but I like the sport and always have a good time hanging out with my team.
I love to travel and usually have a few trips set up. But, no matter where I go, southwestern Colorado will always be my favorite spot.
I'm also a big fan of road trips although I don't go on them as often as I'd like. The best one I took covered about 4000 miles. I loved getting somewhere new every day or two and the surprises along the way. The worst part may have been getting in a fight with my sister somewhere in the desert outside of Taos, about, I think, candy. Or the 17th hour of a drive from Kansas City to Durango, when the only thing keeping me from crashing the car into a mountain was Mitch Hedberg's voice.
Okay, I think that's more than enough for now.

I'll read and enjoy anything written by Neil Gaiman. Right now, I'm reading a lot of Ursula LeGuin. I'm also pretty into travel writing, Pico Iyer and J. Maarten Troost are great, and I loved Jupiter's Travels by Ted Simon. Some movies I like that come to mind are Midnight in Paris, Looper, Eternal Sunshine, and Inception. I also watch 30 Rock, Parks and Rec, Walking Dead, and Elementary. I love the Shins, Andrew Bird, Gomez, and Jack White, and I like discovering new bands on Chicago Mixtape.
