My self-summary Propose an edit
I AM GEEK!! HEAR ME ROAR!!
I am a liberal -
This Should Be Known! I am imperfect.
I am a recent college graduate. I want to teach. Its all I've ever wanted to do. I
am a mountain girl and always will be. I love horses and camping and fishing and
don't get out to do any of that as often as I would like. I'm an
avid reader and often reread books over and over and over again; if
a book is really good you can find new things in it no matter how
many times you read it.
Additionally I have a fetish for good music. This includes country
music. I like country music a great deal; I also like opera,
musicals,
reggeton, some R&B, some classical, oldies - pretty much
everything. I tend to be honestly put off by specific songs rather
than entire genres. I think people disregard all of one kind of
music out of hand because they: 1. don't want to be associated with
the stigma or 2. had a bad experience with ONE song. There is a
whole world of music out there just waiting to be listened
to.
I also have this nasty habit of cutting my hair. I get a hair cut,
get myself all psyched to grow it out again and then, 9 or 10
months later I get bored of it and chop it all off.

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit
I was just accepted into a Masters program so now I'm working on
getting my teaching license to complement my BA. Tried to get a job
teaching without it but I couldn't get any takers. My license will
be in elementary ed if you know anyone who is looking for a
teacher. Still very green and eons more school to go.
I work as a student worker which mostly entails folding, proofing
and filing. Its thrilling rest assured.
Other than school and work I spend virtually every free minute
either on the phone with my little sister (who is a freshman living
in a dorm near-ish to us) or with my niece (who is technically the
daughter of a friend, not a sister.)
I'm really good at Propose an edit
Writing, conversation, I think I'm a good friend. I'm a
particularly talented cook, not so much a baker. I have had really
good luck with coming up with new flavor combinations without any
recipes or anything like that. I'd really like to be all "wonder
flavor (wo)-man" like Bobby Flay but I'm not quite there
yet. I'm also really gifted at destroying technology -
seriously - if it plugs in and I touch it...BOOM!
The first thing(s) people usually notice about me Propose an edit
My rack, my walk, my odd sense of style. I have this thing where I
like to take really classic fashion and make it just a little
different. I miss gloves, not that I was alive for gloves, but they
were so wonderful. Gloves and big brimmed hats. I still wear them
when I can do it without looking completely silly. I also have a
fetish for renaissance attire and hippie-wear; corsets, bodices,
broom stick skirts, bell sleeved fluffy light cotton shirts, layers
and layers and layers. Also, my Bronco's sweat shirt is quite the
eye catcher but that has more to do with it being bright
orange.
I have a great affection for saying things that at first glance
make no sense. I am captain non sequitur! For example...
I'd give my left nut to/for...
What ever floats your cockatoo
My right hind foot
And my FAVORITE
Its not rocket surgery (If you get it, its funny. If not, IM and
ask.)

Borrowed from Max - I am nothing special; of this I am sure. I am a
common man with common thoughts, and I've led a common life. There
are no monuments dedicated to me and my name will soon be
forgotten, but I've loved another with all my heart and soul, and
to me, this has always been enough. - Nicolas Sparks

These Christian Family groups are so anti-Christian. They're
without compassion, charity and kindness. I want Jesus to come back

I spend a lot of time thinking about Propose an edit
Philosophy, Faith, Politics....Lists are not all that
interesting. Right now, I'm spending a lot of time thinking about
the future. I was planning to get my teaching cert as a post
graduate but pretty much everyone (mom, husband...adviser...) seem
to think that I should do it as an undergrad. I wanted to do it as
a graduate because it makes it take less time to get your Masters.
Lets face it, I'm a white woman, I'm not as hire-able as I would
like. So what I'm thinking about right now is the big, life, what
ifs. And I'm really not sure what to do.
On a typical Friday night I am Propose an edit
Doing homework. However, on an ideal Friday night I'd go out to
dinner with some friends and then either a movie or a trip to the
theater. I am a Shakespeare junky and I'd see practically every new
movie if I had the time and money.
The most private thing I'm willing to admit here Propose an edit
If I could wake up tomorrow and be anything else I'd be English. If
I couldn't do that then I think I should very much like to wake up
Ingrid
Bergman. That is, if I could be her without being...ya
know...dead. That doesn't sound like that much fun to be perfectly
honest.

You're looking for someone to hang out with, get to know, eat
really good
food, drive
aimlessly in circles and into the mountains, wine tasting, camping...I'd really like to spend
more time out doors than I do, if only someone would drag me...hint
hint hint. I'm not tiny but I'm in pretty good shape and I like the
outdoors.
