I'm a strong, independent lady who isn't afraid to get her hands dirty.

I am comfortable in my own skin & can feel at home almost anywhere - and like to be around people who are the same.
I love to laugh, so of course I love funny movies. I consider myself an optimist & I usually find something to laugh about in most of life's adventures.

Conversation is important to me. After all, most of what we do is talk. I appreciate good stories & can tell a few of my own. Guys who can laugh at themselves & be goofy are highly valued by me. I like to interact with people, so I like playing board games and anything else where a person can unwind & just be themselves.

As for my ideal match: He would be kind, respectful, loyal & honest. He should not be an unhappy person in constant need of cheering up (venting is OK, but if you want me to be your therapist, I'll start billing you). He gives me the same respect he does his other close friends. He CANNOT be a litterbug (one of my big pet peeves). He doesn't have to be a brainiac, but should be able to carry on an intelligent conversation. He doesn't have to be rich (can live in a treehouse for all I care, so long as it makes him happy) He should be ok w/ who he is & ready to love me for who I am.

I've just finished reading the fifth book in the "Song of Fire and Ice" series. I like Janet Evanovich, J. Maarten Troost, Gregory Maguire, and so many others. Favorite kind od movies are thrillers, comdies, dramas, and of course romantic comedy chick flicks. lol I like all kinds of music, even rap and country.

My favorite Book, My cork screw, a copy of Steel Magnolias, My family and friends, my favorite pillow, and........I can't think of anything else I absolutely HAVE to have.

Well if I'm not working on a weekend, I'm probably spending time with friends having dinner, drinks, watching movies, or playing board games.

I'm a closet Star Trek geek. Don't worry I don't speak Klingon or dress up like a romulan. I just really like the show and all the movies, so if it's on chances are I'm going to watch it.
