My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I just moved back to CT from spending two years in China. I was born and raised here but have been living away since graduating high school.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working at a boarding school as a teacher, coach(field hockey and ice hockey) It's exhausting but rewarding. Thinking about grad school programs.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Putting together ikea furniture (I've had some practice recently)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books: I have been on a non-fiction kick lately reading Peter Hessler, Yu Hua, and Erik Larson. I am also always down for a good David Sedaris story.

Movies: anything Wes Anderson, I watched the Before series this summer and it was great, The Lion King will always hold a place in my heart. Generally less action and more intellectual but who can resist a good blockbuster when it comes around.

TV: too much - HIMYM, Archer, Arrested Development, Suits, The Newsroom, Doctor Who. I just started Orange is the New Black (it might be worth all the hype).

Music: my tastes are wide. You might find me listening to Lana Del Rey, Florence and the Machine, the xx, Arcade Fire, Bon Iver, Iron & Wine, a This American Life podcast (or anything else on NPR - I can be a bit of a junkie).

Food: yes please, Mexican, Thai, Japanese, (real) Chinese, anything fresh and flavorful. Also, I want to start cooking more!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Books
Phone
Music
Planes
Places where there are more trees than buildings and concrete.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Where to go and what to do next. I am always planning my next trip.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Home binging on Netflix, trying a new recipe, out to dinner with friends, pretty typical stuff.
