I like news and politics. Would love to be a journalist/commentator/writer of some sort dealing with these subjects. I oscillate between complete and utter infatuation with the city and its wondrousness and devastation that I'm stuck here until I graduate. I'm generally a pretty amiable person.

studying political science at a small liberal arts college in NYC. I enjoy art and theatre and other creative endeavors and I take a lot of long walks just exploring the city. At the moment, I just have a small group of friends but I would love to meet new people and expand.

listening to people talk about pretty much anything, offering support to my friends and family. I would like to think I'm a good singer and actress. I'm also REALLY good at sleeping and that is only partially a joke.

Short. Shy. Fat/Chubby/Curvy (pick your language). Usually reading something or playing with her phone. My neutral face can be perceived as angry/upset, although it usually just means I'm thinking about something.

BOOKS: I'm always reading, and it's usually something about politics. Bonfire of The Vanities (Tom Wolfe), The Great Gatsby (F. Scott Fitzgerald), Bossypants (Tina Fey), Lizz Free or Die (Lizz Winstead), Mountains Beyond Mountains (Tracy Kidder).
MOVIES: Will watch Social Network or Mean Girls anytime they are on TV. Generally apathetic about most movies. HATE HORROR MOVIES.
SHOWS: Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson and Sunday in the Park with George are my two favorites ever.
MUSIC: Lots of show tunes, Mumford and Sons, Elton John, Billy Joel. Particularly prone to Top 40 fads.
FOOD: Shake Shack. Chinese. Trader Joe's microwave Mac and Cheese.

Diet Coke. Chapstick. My phone. A book. Boots. Prozac.

My future. My friends/family and their well-being. How the heck I'm going to survive the semester.

in my apartment with my roommate and watching baseball or other TV, saying we're going to watch a movie and never doing it. Occasionally going out to dinner with friends.

I have issues with depression. It sucks, I try to work on it. But sometimes it makes me a truly insufferable excuse for a human being.
