I've been in the area almost 4 years, and can't get over all the great experiences that I've had here. From running around on the Capital Crescent Trail to meeting new people to getting out into the country for fresh air and scenic vistas. I'm hoping to find someone to share in theses experiences with.

I'm thinking about taking up golf or photography. But my favorite way to relax is with a good meal and someone special...

I'm an Economist by day for the government and a Wine Educator from time to time for a winey in NoVA.

I just finished my Masters, and am slowly rediscovering what it means to have a life after work...I'm hoping to discover some new places with great food.

using maps. Not your turn-by-turn GPS or Google maps stuff, but the kind of map that is folded paper. You know what I'm talking about, those big atlas type things people kept in they're cars back in the 90s...

I couldn't say: random people always talk to me on Metro. I must look friendly and like I know my way around.

I don't talk about my music much since I enjoy it mostly when I'm alone: driving in the car, sitting on metro, or cleaning my place.

Looking at my bookshelf, you'll see books on statistics, finance, wine, psychology, history, Top 10 sellers, bargain basement chick-lit, and running (I'm still baffled that there are books on this topic. Running seems straight forward to me). The take-way is that I have a broad range of interests.

Aside from family, friends, and phone...

-Coffee
-Cooking...some people do yoga to find their center, cooking does the same thing for me. Plus, I have something to eat when I'm done.
-A cozy sweatshirt
-The gym
-Airplanes...they have taken me to some pretty amazing places like Hawaii, Europe, etc.

When is my next workout?

I have a hard time answering the question, "Where are you from?" I will let you decide for yourself...I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and then moved to Florida for high school. For some reason, I thought I needed to move some place cold, so I went to college in Boston. I have since moved to DC for a job and have been here for about 4 years.

You can walk around a city all day just to explore what's around the next corner.

You're a sucker for sitting on a balcony/roof deck/street cafe watching the people who walk by, chatting and subsequently relaxing.
