Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a supportive, laid back, and optimistic girl.
After a few years of focusing on my education and career, I
realized that life is not a practice run and I wanted to enjoy it
by staying close with my loving family and genuine friends. I stay
healthy with regular workouts and meals cooked from scratch, but
find that drinking wine with friends and regular travel are also
essentials for a joyful, healthy lifestyle.
Oh, and I'm really competitive at air hockey.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm an Economist in Downtown DC, but what you really need to know
is that I'm on a mission to drink great wine, eat great food,
collect passport stamps, laugh often, and keep good company.
I’m really good at

using maps. Not your turn-by-turn GPS or Google maps, but the kind
of map that is folded paper. You remember...those big atlas type
things people kept in they're cars back in the 90s.

Recently, a lady grabbed my arm and exclaimed, "Where did you get
those arms? Where can I get them?!" As if you could buy arms at
your local department store. Aside from this experience, which
ended up being a hilarious conversation, I'd say people notice my

Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

I was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, moved to Florida for
high school, but wanted to live some place cold for a change, so I
packed up for college in Boston. I've since moved for a DC
Now, my personality is an awkward mix of work hard/play hard
Californian, beach bum Floridian, intellectually curious Bostonian,
and the verdict is out on DC.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You are an intelligent guy who is engaged with life. You don't have
it all figured out--I sure don't--but your ambition and a general
life direction is an attractive quality. You hold your own in a
discussion of business, politics, where we should go for dinner,
etc. We may disagree from time-to-time, but you're open to a
spirited debate without the need to "win."
A dry, witty humor is probably a good fit, but when all else fails,
you laugh at my corny jokes and find the humor in life.
You're energetic, yet chill. A 5 mile run, camping, hiking, paddle
boarding, etc. is just the ticket to justify us sitting on a
balcony/roof deck/street cafe, sipping a quality beer, people
watching, chatting, and subsequently relaxing.
I’m a believer in chemistry. I want to be so excited to see you
that I wear a stupid ear-to-ear grin. I miss you when you’re gone.
And it wouldn't hurt if I found you maddeningly, "weak in the
knees" attractive either. :)
You accept my love for dogs, roller coasters, summer baseball
games, and colored Christmas lights!
