My self-summary
My name is Mary. I am a ginger. I really like laughing and traveling. Once my ambulance broke down on the way to the hospital...things like this are pretty typical. I reeally hate when people use their, they're and there incorrectly (see http://theoatmeal.com/comics/misspelling). I picked up and drove out here from NJ 2 ish years ago kind of on a whim and love the NW scene. I think the % enemy thing on here is hilarious.
What I’m doing with my life
I own a juice bar downtown which is where I spend the majority of my time. I'm loving that for now, but school may be in the future since I'm pretty nerdy about neuroscience. If I'm not doing juice bar related things I'm probably playing ultimate frisbee. I also travel as much as I possibly can. It is my favorite thing.
I’m really good at
Minesweeper, ultimate (or so I like to think), cooking without a recipe, crosswords, thinking of 30 Rock or Seinfeld quotes for all situations, anddd laughing at awkward or inappropriate times.

I'm REALLY bad at technology.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Neurosciencey ones especially by Ramachandran, Harry Potter, LOTR, Cormac McCarthy, Kurt Vonnegut, Classics (think Dickens and the like), mostly fiction.

Movies: Eclectic. Newsies (embarrassing, but I don't really care), Disney and Pixar, Beetlejuice, The Dark Crystal, Drop Dead Fred, Clerks, Clueless, Hocus Pocus, Harry Potter, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Garden State, LOTR, John Hughs, other things that Netflix tells me to watch. This list really isn't a great representation of me...

TV: 30 Rock, Seinfeld, Parks and Recreation, Party Down, House, Antiques Roadshow, Community, Shark Week, I Shouldn't Be Alive, Locked Up Abroad, No Reservations, Workaholics, Rocko's Modern Life, Dexter, Modern Family. This list is a pretty good representation of me...

Music: Lots, I know that's the worst answer. Currently my Pandora has stations for The Black Keys, Motown, The Beatles, The Shins, Showtunes, Ratatat, Ke$ha (a girl's gotta get pumped to go out), The Starting Line (nostalgia), Copeland, and Tokyo Police Club. I'd say The Shins, Modest Mouse, and Ratatat have the top spots.

Food: I consider myself a foodie even though I'm lame and can't eat gluten and don't eat meat. Checking out new restaurants is a weekly endeavor. Top of the charts is asian food by far. That encompasses a lot, but it doesn't matter because they alllll know what they're doing. Also brunch. Brunch is good. I have also been known to plan a meal based on how much I want ketchup.

I feel like people should be a category.
People: Will Smith, Vilayanur Ramachandran, Anthony Bourdain, Aziz Ansari, Ellen DeGeneres, Tina Fey. This list is an awesome representation of me.
The six things I could never do without
passport
flannel
games
an ultimate disc
ipod
a pet (I currently don't have one and it's the most depressing thing in the world)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where I should go next and cheap plane tickets. Things that make me laugh. Weekend plans. The sun. Restaurants I want to go to. The next time I play ultimate.
On a typical Friday night I am
Out and about eating and drinking and dancing and singing karaoke. Probably in Capitol Hill unless I am dragged elsewhere.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am currently 3 Jamesons in
