My Self-Summary
I'm a self-sufficient, laid-back, fun-loving, well-educated,
well-traveled person (who apparently likes to hyphenate)... I'm
close with my family and have a great group of friends, some of
whom I've known since kindergarten. I love dogs and wish I had the
time for one of my own, so it's a big plus if you have one or two
or three. I enjoy meeting new people, traveling to new places and
just taking myself out of my comfort zone, maybe skydiving would be
a good first date... then again I'm a sucker for staying in,
watching a movie and playing Scrabble. A good friend once told me I
was like a favorite pair of jeans, I'm familiar, comfortable, and
go great with everything (or something like that).
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a caretaker for the developmentally disabled and I'm in school
to become an RN.
When I'm not working or on my porch with my nose in a book I'm usually with friends somewhere doing something.
I also see my family a lot. I live a short distance from all my immediate family; we eat a lot of meals together, my Dad's a fantastic cook.

My scrubs, I'm in them all the time and basically use my job as an
excuse to wear pajamas out in public.

I'll limit myself to one of each: Dandelion Wine by Ray Bradbury
(it's a nostalgic book that I read every spring), Rushmore is an
all-time favorite, I adore Janis Joplin, when it comes to food I
like anything with hot sauce (preferably Chalula)
