Anyway, i get why I am easier to deal with as a work of art than i am a person. Sorry, no hard feelings. It was meant as a joke, but in the speaking truth to power way. my bad.
his is not your typical profile because it is my novel. This is not you typical novel because I like Nabokov. Some of my writing is in my journal, but most is available at nickverdant.blogspot.com. If you are looking for the jokes check out the questions. My twitter name is NickVerdant. I am working on my facebook pages. One is for my stone mason work and family, and the other for Nick Verdant my humorist pen name. I am new at social media and I am still working it out. I chose this site for my novel because it is well designed, i like women, and it seems like a good place to work blue. I also like the idea of reading with different eyes than you would normally use to read a novel. I would love to meet new friends, and if that turns into anything great. If not I don't lack confidence in person. Please join the conversation. Thanks, Nick. PS: profile follows.
I lead an epic life. Homer is important to me. I once borrowed my friends armor and beat back the invaders when the were upon the ships. I paid for that one. I've lied to deformed giants. He will tell you it was nobody, but I did it. I get what is real better than most people, who think conventions, traditions, and ideologies are reality. I tilt at these windmills, the systems that robs us of our humanity, and they exist only in the imagination. They are as real as the sirens, yet too many ships are being smashed against the craggy shore. People suffer in despair because of beliefs, so I mock. I lead an epic existence trying to put humanity in the center. I am a peaceful man. Most of my time is spent chiseling veined Italian marble, listening to opera, and drinking wine. Stone work is my craft.
