I am spontaneous, dynamic, and perceptive.

My Self-Summary

Im going through a wholesome phase. Dont get me wrong, I still drink like a fish a couple times a week, but Im learning how to crochet at the same time. Yes, sometimes I even crochet at the bar. Aint that just the hottest? Actually, I really need a surrogate grandma who can show me where my technique is failing. So if you know of anyone, send them my way.
I like the fact that I can learn new things from the people I know or come to know. Recently I learned to shoot a gun, that was one of the most awesome experiences of my year. I have moved around a lot, and love that I can look back on the last 10 years of my life and feel like Ive lived several lives in between.
Im independent, but I like spending time with others. Im self motivated and active, but enjoy down-time and occasionally doing nothing at all.

What I’m doing with my life

trying to figure out how to do a slip stitch. Rejuvenating my inner photographer. watching too much online tv...

I’m really good at

a whole hell of a lot of things.
im good at adapting. Im good at turning bad situations into positive ones. Im good at making out! OW OW! Im good at including people. Im good at taking photographs.
Im good at some other things too, but Ill keep this PG13...

The first things people usually notice about me

I work in the hospitality industry and often people comment on my "charming smile" and "pretty blue eyes". But I think thats fairly common... freckles maybe.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I like them all.

I haven't had a TV for 6+years, but I still manage to watch it online. Recently I discovered Californication, and I must say thats way better than I thought it would be. Im also quite a big fan of Weeds, Bullshit, House, and Dexter. I also have a lot of guilty pleasures when it comes to TV shows. But ill keep those under wraps for now.

The most recent book I read and really liked was Water for Elephants. It was one of those books that I finished and instantly wished I could forget so I could have the pleasure of reading it again.
Carnies and circus freaks turn me on.

music, music, music... lets just say that if you're entire collection is based on radio-play or your music motto goes something like "there just isnt any good music these days", we probably won't get along. I really value music. No need to mention genres; I like it all as long as it's good.
Some of my all time favorite albums (by no means an exhaustive list, but some that I can still enjoy after many years of listening):
I Can Hear The Heart Beating As One- Yo La Tengo
Why That Doesn't Surprise Me- The Lucksmiths
the self titled album by Automato
Radiohead albums 1-4
Felt Mountain- Goldfrapp
Londinium- Archive
Detrola- His Name Is Alive
Dummy- Portishead
Set Yourself on Fire- Stars
Neon Golden- Notwist
Moon Pix- Cat Power
Tender Buttons- Broadcast
Keep It Like a Secret- Built To Spill
Brighten the Corners- Pavement
Feel Good Lost- Broken Social Scene
Oh! The Grandeur- Andrew Bird's Bowl of Fire
Cure for Pain- Morphine
Kill the Moonlight- Spoon
Sound Dust- Stereolab
3rd Eye Vision- Hieroglyphics
Silent Alarm- Bloc Party
ok, im gonna stop now...

The six things I could never do without

I am going to change this category to "things I would not wish to do without", because I think "could never do without" is too dramatic. Of coarse I could do without anything, thats what makes people strong: they learn, they deal, they survive.

My dogs, new experiences, eyesight, hearing, the use of my limbs, respect, my camera...

I spend a lot of time thinking about

my actions, smells, the world, bourbon, sex, my health, a new job, what other people might be thinking about...
the proper use of ellipses...

On a typical Friday night I am

drawing sea monsters, watching a movie, chilling with a friend & a cocktail, dancing like a champ to old school hip hop, relaxing in the hot tub...

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Im pretty open with people I feel are worth it. There are lots of private things you can get to know me for.

okay, you got me. I watch Grey's Anatomy and I end up crying during almost every episode. ugh!

You should message me if

You want someone to go to a show with. You drive an old Land Cruiser. You like dogs, change, the ocean, vodka, sweating in the sun, going for bike rides, being introduced to new things, eating good food...You arent afraid of: being in uncomfortable situations, the ghetto, people who are different from you. You appreciate your life. You dont think you have all the time in the world...
