I love to get up and go! I am fun-loving, quirky, witty and physical. I love to dance, laugh, be in nature and try new things, meet new people, experience life. I enjoy fun, spontaneous outings..

What I’m doing with my life

Briefly, I am biogeographer and restoration ecologist with a dance background.

I just finished grad school and am excited to fix up my little house a bit more. It needs gutters!

I'm on a creative kick right now-- I want to sew clothes, make paintings or build things. I still take ballet faithfully and will start to sew more once I fix my sewing machine... I like to hum while gardening. I am working on making my back yard an oasis.

My family is important to me. I make regular trips to visit them in Seattle.

I’m really good at

Fixing meals (to a degree-- I don't really bake, in fact, let's specify 'fast meals'),

Also good at giving massages (and receiving them), coming up with ideas for inventions, people watching, fixing things, being self-sufficient and making friends.

The first things people usually notice about me

My hair, although less so now that I'm getting older. I grew up having strangers approach and just grab my ponytail in awe (thick, with natural highlights). I was not appreciative in my youth...

My candor. I tell it like it is. For better or for worse.

Oh, probably mostly, my laugh. I have a head-turning laugh. All of my friends say the love it. I don't hear it, myself.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

not my favorite type of thing to answer... it changes over time. I'm very flexible. I like most music (I avoid top 40 stuff) Jazz, punk, funk, rock, art stuff...

Food. I fancy Mexican the most. Love cheese and beans. Salads.

Books. Love books. Love to have them, read them, look at them. I like reference books. Never romance novels. Sci-fi fantasy is my fiction preference.
