After our bellies couldn't handle anymore coffee and pastries, we decided to take advantage of the sunshine. We walked to a thrift store, then popped into the wine shop for a free tasting, peeked into the construction across the street, walked some more, argued over architect Frank Gehry, enjoyed afternoon libations and a light lunch, hopped on the T to walk around the up-and-coming area of Boston making a mental note to come back on a warmer day to enjoy a beer next to the water. After calling it a day, he said, "You should write about today because this is really you."
I agreed on the condition that we would have to agree to disagree over Gehry.
