What I’m doing with my life
I was a Digital Content Strategist for a Legislator. Right now, I do freelance work, I work on side projects, I'm taking classes.
I’m really good at
Telling you everything you never wanted to know about Harry Potter. I'm an expert at unintentionally alienating myself from society. If you need any pointers, I'm your gal.
The first things people usually notice about me
I get comments on my eyes a lot, they're a cool shade of green. People seem to like my hair as well.

I have bitchy resting face. If you don't know what that is, google it. I promise I'm not actually judging you. (...ok, I can't promise. It's unlikely though.)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Harry Potter, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, City of Falling Angels, anything by Poe, Sherlock Holmes series, Girl Interrupted, DaVinci Code, The Secret Garden, The Hunger Games Trilogy, Song of Fire and Ice, I love reading books on art movements or artists. I'm looking for more sci-fi and fantasy books so please message me with recommendations!

Movies: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Slumdog Millionaire, District 9, The Princess Bride, Death at a Funeral (BRITISH version), Monty Python films, Little Miss Sunshine. I consider these movies my favorites, but most of the time I'd rather watch some blockbuster sci-fi film or a Disney movie.

Music: Indie folk. I might have some hipster tendencies here. The Civil Wars, Mumford & Sons, & Florence & The Machine are a few of my favorites. Bad 80's & 90's pop is life.

Food: I have a frozen yogurt addiction. Mexican food as well.

TV: 24, The office, Doctor Who, Arrested Development, Modern Family, South Park, Hetalia, Downton Abbey, Avatar: The Last Airbender (It's a shame they never made a movie . Never. Made. A. Movie.), Homeland, Being Human, Futurama, GAME OF FUCKING THRONES.

I'm going to create my own categories =D
Artists: DaVinci, Koons, Dali, Miro, Kandinsky, Kooning, Hirst, Harvey (Marcus)

Board Games: Monopoly, Life, Risk, Settlers of Catan (my absolute FAVORITE!)

Computer/Video games: Neverwinter, League of Legends, Torchlight I & II, Orcs Must Die (actually most tower defense games), any old school Pokemon, Old school Sonic, Paper Mario (I'm getting way too nostalgic here, I should cut myself off now). I can't wait for ESO to come out later this year.
The six things I could never do without
1. Coffee. So much coffee. I'm supposed to be cutting back. Shhh don't tell my Doctor.
2. Video games
3. The internet
4. PUPPIES! (Oh God, all the puppies!)
5. Wine. Lots and lots of wine.
6. My teddy bear. (D'aw)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The number 42.

Why Moffat hates women.

I'm usually thinking of new ideas for start-ups or apps. Working on a few products right now.
On a typical Friday night I am
Same thing I do every night, try to take over the world.

I'm an introvert, I don't go out on Friday nights. I like staying in with friends, watching movies, playing boardgames. Maybe grabbing dinner and getting a glass of wine or frozen yogurt somewhere.

Lately it's just been renovating my apartment and playing with my pup Phil.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I never learned to ride a bike.

The amount of time I've spent in the hospital the past few years has become an ongoing joke in my life.

"Whoops, she tripped. Get the OR ready"
I’m looking for
  • Everybody
  • Ages 18–35
  • Near me
  • For new friends
You should message me if
If you think I'm as awesome as I think I am. If you understand any of what I was talking about. If you think we'd get along.

People who are into Game of Thrones, Doctor Who, Harry Potter, going to conventions.... message me. I seriously need more friends I can geek out with.

I'm only looking for friends. I have this stated under "I'm looking for" yet apparently I need to mention this multiple times.

I am desperately in need of friends. Oh Helix I'm so alone out here.
