We’ve all heard the expression “if it seems too good to be true then it can’t be true”. Well, I am the exception – I seem too good to be true, but I am true. I am not being egotistical or conceded; I’m just trying to explain myself. So what is wrong with me? Why am I looking, on-line, for a woman? Well… I’m very discerning. I am not willing to settle – again. I was married once. It ended 10 years ago. Since then I’ve seen it all! I think I’ve dated every kind of woman in existence. Every one except the right one! I’m not sure exactly what I want but I sure know from experience what I don’t want. I don’t want: gold diggers, control freaks, renovation experts (who look at me like a home remodeling project), women with so much baggage they can’t move, drug or alcohol addicts or insecure women who just want to be taken care of. I just want someone to enjoy my life with and to share in the beauty of each day. Don’t get me wrong, I am looking for a beautiful woman – but beautiful is not enough. I don’t want an aspiring trophy wife. I want a companion.

I am a New York City born and raised; college educated (PhD dropout) professional, who owns a small computer engineering company. I enjoy fine wine and fine food (and I am a gourmet cook), movies, shows, black tie affairs, travel (I’ve been most everywhere), intellectual/philosophical/emotional discussions, sex (yes, I admit it) and occasional dancing. Although I haven’t recently, I love to snow and water ski and play tennis. I’m not a big fan of spectator sports but enjoy going to the occasional game for variety.

I grew up poor with great values. I learned the value of money and love and friendship. I know what commitment and loyalty mean and I have a very rare quality; – great character. That being said, I am indeed, a self made brat!
