I have come to the conclusion that I need a 4-year degree, because I want the finer things in life lol...(to get the "lol", read the 8/12/2013 update). Mostly comics and a place to live in another state. That being said I am moving to Sherman to attend SOSU. Yes, I know it is in Oklahoma and I am from Texas...I need a cheap uni, and it fits the bill (yea, my jokes are that lame). That being said I am down for new friends and short term dating (with the opportunity to go long term if we click).
I have come to a point in life where I have finally realized that money does not buy you happiness. I am not saying that I will say no to free money or a raise at work. What I am saying is that I will not work a job that make me miserable, just so I can have the finer things in life. Instead, I want a job that makes me happy and allows me time to do other things that make me happy. As long as I am financially self sufficient, I am happy.
Well, hello Cali! I am new to the area and looking to meet the locals! I am only looking for short term, friends, activity partners, and long distance pen-pals.
I am to the point where my faith in online dating is starting to dim. I am now able to "Moderate" other users. I do not like to judge others for their faults (simply because I do not pretend that I have none myself), but I might do it just for fun. As far as dating goes...lets just say I need to take a second look at my priories in life. If you stop by my web page and have any recommendations (gulp, please no trolls) on ways I can improve the profile or even myself; any "constructive" comments would be nice.
I use Skype, so if we start messaging and you feel like we are hitting it off. Ask me for my Skype ID. I might say yes.
I love how rude people have become, it is the best thing ever since sliced bread, just kidding. I recently visited a profile where another person was only 7% match and 73% enemy (this is a testament to Ok-Cupids test results), so I stupidly decided to ask if she was interested in a date. Here was her response:
"no im not interested.. 1 you look like lurchs cousin aka ur fugly and 2 my hubby wouldnt like that.. so goodbye :)"
I really enjoyed the proper capitalization and double periods. I am not one to criticize grammar but come on people. I did not respond, but if I did it would have been something like this:
"Well, I appreciate the honest response and the fact that you responded. I am slightly disappointed because the smiley face indicates that you might be a nice person (sarcasm implied), however I would not want to upset your "hubby". Although if he found out that we had met on a dating site I think he would not want to be your "hubby" much longer. If you were not interested, just ignore me like all the other girls who are not interested, don't try to go for Bitch of the year award!"
