I used to be so profound! Didn’t we all used to? In our twenties
and thirties? Gabriel Garcia Marquez
, and Robert Bly
are a few authors that
come to mind. On my shelf, "to read," are The Communist Manifesto,
Cradle to Cradle and Biomimicry. Not that I'm a communist.
In other lives (my friend Roger said I’d lived 13, I believe) I
really liked epic movies: Fitzcarraldo
, Out of
, Until the End of the World
. They don’t make
these movies anymore; have you noticed? It’s sad, really. We have
better and more advanced technology, and we look at that, instead
of the land.
By shows do they mean TV? Have you seen Ron Howard's
? Good stuff. Otherwise, I'd say the musical
production of A Chorus Line
, for a show.
Music... Dang, I just missed Jonathan Richman at the Filler...
*sigh* Favorites would be Wailin' Jennys, Heather Masse, jazz, Greg
Brown... It's hard to define; I like nearly all music. I find
myself listening to public radio classical more and more these
days, and I used to hate classical music!
An omnivore, I especially like the nourishing soups and stews I
create, Indian food, Mex and anything flavorful and not too
filling. I usually eat organic, if I can.
