My Self-Summary
Have a seat! Comfortable? Good, let me introduce myself to you
then.. In lieu of cable TV or satellite, I own a canoe. I tend to
be introspective. While not a person who is exceedingly social, I
am presentable in public, no leash required. Just as comfortable
belly down in a cave as any museum. I like astronomy and have a
telescope that I use infrequently (Time, why you punish me? {sry
Hootie}). Some friends and myself have been on a hiking kick of
late and we've done some interesting local trails. More to come,
stay tuned.
What I’m doing with my life
Unfortunately, I'm spending too much time working and not enough
having fun. Sound familiar? My retirement is finally on the horizon
(still years away but closing in) and I have many interests I wish
to pursue. I have a great desire to travel, both home and abroad.
I’m really good at
Computers! Herding cats.
The first things people usually notice about me
is my deformed sense of humour.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Anything by Cormac McCarthy or Dickens (I like the classics). Edna
Millay should be required reading for every person on the planet!
Movies? Psych thrillers, character studies and comedy (not Adam
Sandler vehicles and the like). Food, did someone say food? I guess
meat and potatoes would describe me to a tee. I am not one who will
not try new things, snails...pretty good, squid (or should I say
Caliwhateveritis).......UGH!!
The six things I could never do without

I spend a lot of time thinking about
myself. Not in an egotistical manner, but from the point of view of
what are my flaws (which I do have many of) and how can I go about
improving on. I'm just a human being being human. I'm interested in
physics, but am handicapped by my lack of math skills. It's
fascinating to me that time 'flows' differently when encountering a
massive object.
On a typical Friday night I am
just hanging out. My hours of work tend to inhibit my activities on
Friday evenings.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
is that I'm a fairly private person.
You should message me if

white water kayaking? How about hang gliding?
