Foreword: I'm not here to get in your pants. Or into any other item of clothing. I'd rather befriend two awesome people than sleep with twenty and never see them again. I'm in a happy polyamorous relationship and I really am not interested in a quick fuck.

I like science, pirates, cycling, discovering little-known factoids on Wikipedia, hugs, good company, fine wine, smiling at strangers, pretending to be a panda, voluminous trousers and steak. I also love xkcd and funny hats.

I can spell and use grammar correctly and I want to punch people who misuse apostrophe's in the face.

One of my most favouritest activities ever is playing Set or Bananagrams or Scrabble or 3D Connect Four in a pub with a pint of good cider or a glass of wine in my hand so if you are a fiend for patterns, words or devious trickery, I'd love the challenge!

I make the Internet work by pressing buttons on things. Then, other things elsewhere do stuff. This allows other things to happen for people doing stuff on the Internet.

Every Tuesday I go to a circus jam in Brick Lane where I hang out with circusy types, teach poi and generally chill. It's like a mini-weekend in the middle of the week!

I was in a happy and stable polyamorous relationship over the last 6 or so years and it's taught me a great deal about the importance of communication, negotiation and being able to deal with your own shit before getting involved with someone else and dumping it on them. I'm still learning lots all the time and really enjoying it. My partner of 6 years decided she wants to be exclusive with one of her other partners and it's awesome to see them happy together!

I recently got involved in the London kink community and it's proving to be pretty great - it's good to meet people who are welcoming and accepting!

I'm learning to play the guitar and blow smoke rings, too!

In no particular order of anything: The Internets, circumlocution, playing with everyday objects, massages, hugs, poi, eating pizza, reading, playing hopscotch in the rain, wearing hats, relaxing, appreciating the tiny, hidden melodies in pieces of music. There's probably more.

My eyes are slightly different colours and my right ear has a tendency to move of its own accord when I grin. Which is often.

I have a fairly sizeable face-bear.

Oh and I say 'awesome' a lot.

I love lots of things: Photo albums, being around friends, The Glitch Mob, Game of Thrones, The Doors of Perception, making stuff, Tolkien, Iain M Banks, Terry Pratchett. Glitch Mob and general glitchy music make me happy in my feelings. I'm also somewhat fond of general circus shenanigans, Poi, Rock, Richard Dawkins, vinyl records, the smell of coffee beans, making jelly, closely followed by eating jelly while making a Cookie Monster-esque "om nom nom nom" noise.

I'm currently reading The Wise Man's Fear by Patrick Rothfuss

Music-wise - anything from indie to house to classical to hindi... I'm going through a major tabla/electronica fusion phase right now so if you can recommend anything, I will love you!

Assuming the presence of food and other items deemed essential to human survival:
- My delightful friends both in this country and elsewhere in the big wide world!
- Camera or notepad or something to scribble on. I don't get out and about with my camera nearly often enough and I need to fix that. If you like walking sound aimlessly with a camera and a bag of munchies, we will likely get on!
- Circus toys! Teaching people how to contact juggle our spin poi or juggle is something I get a huge kick out of - I love teaching people stuff in general!
- My bike. When I can get over the fact I often forget that cycling is such silly amounts of fun, that is!
- Sex and general amazing physical contact with people. I enjoy giving strangers hugs when I meet them, I love giving massages, I'm very tactile and have been known to sit and play with someone's hair or trace the outlines of their body for hours.

...Tiny, hidden melodies that nobody notices in songs. I love complex downtempo music where the different elements swirl and collide and create awesome. I can sit there for hours picking tunes apart!
