My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I got my B.S. in information science and then decided the business world sucked, so I decided to go to med school. I was also a few classes away from a German Lit and Bio degree, but who cares? Now, I'm finishing up my, oh so exciting, intern year before going on to Gainesville to continue residency training.

In my spare time I enjoy listening to music, teaching myself a guitar (that one probably shouldn't be included at this point), watching movies, coffee shops..normal kind of stuff. I enjoy traveling as well, although I don't have much time lately!

I prefer just to be asked more about me. I'm pretty easy going and prefer an independent girl who knows what she wants in life, or at the very minimum knows what she doesn't want. Intelligence, a curiosity for the world and patience (I know I'm a pain sometimes) are all characteristics that I search for. That being said, friendship is just dandy too. I officially know nobody outside of my class in the area, so anyone that changes that is alright in my book.

I am Sarcastic, Witty, and Frickin Awesome....ok, maybe a bit of an overstatement in all three. Realistically, it is one of those "Bless his soul, he tries" type scenarios.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm still holding out on becoming an astronaut, but with the current state of NASA, becoming a competent radiologist is a reasonable second place goal.

My off time involves training. I'd like to compete in highland games and/or a strongman competition sometime within the next year. This involves lots of lifting to angry music, eating and sleeping.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Acting much more relaxed than I am at hospital codes. (Internally, I'm screaming for help and hoping someone else magically takes over)

I'm also a reasonably good teacher. It is tremendously fun and challenging for me to come up with different ways to illustrate a concept or point. This translates into me entertaining the idea of going into a more academic program or at least mentoring students in the future.

I'm also not too shabby at lifting heavy things.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My height. I'm 6'5"...aw yes, and my rugged good looks.

For being 6'5", people do tend to underestimate my sneakiness. (Yes, that was a reference from a subpar movie)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Hmmmm books. I was a german lit major for a while, so a lot of books in German. Aside from that, Kurt Vonnegut stuff, High Fidelity, Everything is Illuminated...I don't know. Haven't had time to read.

Movies...Just about everything. I like Guy Ritchie movies, but gravitate towards anything offbeat or with some good dry humor. I also enjoy mindless action and horror films, dramas..jsut everything.

To continue the checklist. Music. Music-wise I listen to just about everything. I've got enough music to listen nonstop for one year and not repeat a song...probably longer. As long as it isn't country (and even a little country), I probably listen to it.

Food..I enjoy cooking and will eat just about anything food wise. I like trying new things.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Laptop.....which makes me feel a little dirty inside. While I'm a tech geek, I hate feeling tethered to technology.

Music, Books and Movies
Good food/wine/beer/coffee..lots and lots and lots of coffee
Passport (which is collecting dust right now)
The gym or some other stress outlet.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Work, lifting, food, naughty things , work, work, food, lifting, naughty things....It kind of repeats itself.

No, not really a perv but I am a guy. Nearly everyone except eunuchs can testify to their mind wandering in that area at least a few times a day, but I can keep it under wraps.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I go out when I can, but it gets expensive after a while. Us guys don't have the glory of free drinks after all. I enjoy watching movies a lot. So, just whatever I feel like I suppose.

I'm a cord cutter, which I enjoy. I realized there are far too many shows and things to watch without paying a ton of money on a monthly basis.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
After a few too many drinks I look like I'm Stevie Wonder playing the piano when I type on my laptop. *swings to the left with huge smile*

When starting grad school, people pinned me as a "jock". In realility, I'm a huge geek who happens to have some degree of athletic prowess. For the love of god, I already mentioned I'm addicted to Dr. Who..that is a big enough indicator for most people. If that isn't a strong enough indicator, the fact that I spent most of my young life playing various playstation and computer RPGs should be. I even special ordered the Baldur's Gate DVD edition and sold a copy of Suikoden for $120.

You want to? I'll talk to just about anyone. I really don't feel these boxes are adequate for getting to know someone. Just message me and we'll talk. If we hate each other then big woop..no more talking.

I will be honest and say that if you have a kid, your odds go down for a real relationship happening. It is nothing personal and nothing against kids. I love kids and want to be a father one day, but that is one day. I don't think I am at a point in my life where I could balance that type of relationship with my career goals. That being said, if you really really think we'd click, don't be afraid to message me. Weirder things have happened in life than someone changing their mind.
