A good sense of humor is important. I like to laugh through most things. I like to snowboard, hike or bike with my dog (no, it's not a poodle, I just made a silly screen name. Dog picture here), travel, see live music, go to movies, eat good food, and hang out with good friends.

I have a house in Redwood Heights I like to work on. It's close to Chabot and Redwood Park. So it's convenient for getting out to nature but still close enough to the action.

I love to go on spontaneous road trips. I once drove for 28 hours without a break other than getting gas.

I paint stuff like this in my spare time.

I'm a web developer and work downtown in San Francisco. It's an interesting job but I like to forget about it when I'm not there. What I do when I'm not at work is much more interesting.

Painting, drawing, programming, getting into ridiculously fun situations, parallel parking, steering things off topic, snowboarding, catching things I knocked over, doing math in my head, dog wrestling, making people laugh, driving for long periods of time, getting myself out of trouble, and staying out a little too late.

I guess the comment I get the most is "laid back" and some people have said they group me as their fun friend.

Movies: David Lynch...especially Wild at Heart. Stanley Kubrick movies. Some other favorites are Fight Club, the first Matrix, Reservoir Dogs, O Brother, Where Art Thou?, Inglourious Basterds, Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, Kung Fu Hustle, and Requiem for a Dream.

I also really like documentaries. The Botany of Desire, Food Inc., Transcendent Man, Forks Over Knives, The Yes Men Save the World, etc.

Food: I really like trying new restaurants. Burma Superstar in Temescal is on of my recent favorites. I'm really into extremely spicy food and always down for sushi.

Books: Vonnegut, William Gibson, Harlan Ellison, Bukowski, and I just read the Hunger Games books. I also read non-fiction like Howard Zinn and Matt Taibbi as well as educational books that teach me new things I'm trying to learn.
