These are a few of the ways I spend time with someone special:

We are at a glacial lake in a forest, just below the tree line. The sun is beating down. The hike was long, but now that it is done we are energized and resting. Being with each other. Our deep, strong connection is not limited by the physical world.

or if we are staying in town -
We are dancing the tango. We are close; moving in tandem, cheek to cheek, hip to hip. We turn together, slowly, matching the beat, feeling the beat, being the beat. We end with a dip, so low your hair caresses the floor. We kiss and while kissing slowly return to vertical.

Are you a woman that likes men with a penchant for the dangerous? I am warning you right now I eat raw cookie dough. All the time.

I love ripe fruit drizzled with chocolate; sizzling bacon in the morning and the musky smell of an aged cheese.

Saving the world. Helping people. Creating my own life. Kicking ass, taking names and every day crushing the only one I ever compete with - the me of yesterday.

So the adventure of late - I have a bit of land and I am creating a carbon free life on said land, exploring the challenges of growing food on the Colorado plateau - and adding the challenge of adding no water that is only used for irrigation. Yeah. Like that. So far I've battled the gophers to a draw.

Oh! I'm also slowly turning my house into a not-very-mobile robot!
