My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a writer living in the Niagara area (by which I mean I work in administration while writing and publishing what I can :P). I am of the geekly persuasion and quite happy to be so; comics, gaming, TV, film - it's all great fun. I studied dramatic literature and journalism (What do you do with a B.A. in English?), and I love musicals (though I promise I won't inflict my singing on you). I'm looking for someone who likes the geeky things in life, who would enjoy watching some Game of Thrones or playing a rousing game of Arkham Horror.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Writing various projects.

Books, gah, so many to choose from... Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, A Song of Ice and Fire, Orlando by Virginia Woolf, anything by Scott Westerfeld, anything by Neil Gaiman (but in particular Neverwhere and Graveyard Book), The Dresden Files, The Hours, Not Wanted on the Voyage by Timothy Findley, the Chronicles of Narnia... (I'm going to stop there)

Movies! Amelie, American Beauty, Being John Malkovich, Last Night, the Dark Crystal, Run Lola Run, A League of Their Own, Shortbus, Paranorman, Wreck-It Ralph, A Single Man, Inception, The Toy Story Trilogy, Monty Python and the Holy Grail... (Again, going to stop)

TV! (I love TV so much more than movies, to be perfectly honest - ongoing stories are my favourite) Game of Thrones, Six Feet Under, Parks and Recreation, Community, Arrested Development, Black Books, 30 Rock (I will never forget you, Rural Juror), Cougar Town, Downton Abbey (Cougarton Abbey), Adventure Time, Gravity Falls, Archer, The Venture Bros, Futurama, Pushing Daisies, Happy Endings, Fringe, Star Trek, Firefly (RIP), Battlestar Galactica, Buffy, Twin Peaks, Person of Interest, Sherlock, Veronica Mars... (Stopping, stopping)

Music! The National, Regina Spektor, Mirah, Bear McCreary, Clint Mansell, Florence + The Machine, Green Day, Imogen Heap, Pete Gresser, Vienna Teng, Yoko Kanno, innumerable soundtracks and musicals

Theatre! Angels in America, Wicked, Into the Woods, Avenue Q, Title of Show, Next to Normal, Book of Mormon, Hairspray, The Producers...

A good set of d10s
I said books already, didn't I?

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You like to geek out over things and want someone to do it with! Or if you want to ask me what Homestuck is :P.

Honestly, if you are into any of the things I've talked about, I would love to hear from you. I am a bit shy about sending messages myself, but I will respond to messages sent to me, even if just to say hi. :)
