Hi, I'm Kurtis. I'll try to keep the onslaught of profile cliches to a minimum. I am a nerd, a geek, a dweeb, whatever you want to call it. Many see being nerdy as a bad thing, but I embrace it. My life has been school for more years than many, and I love it that way. I'm a History major, and I love talking about it it far too much. That's why I want to teach it. I love to read and I write in my free time. I don't really like sports all that much, aside from an uncharacteristic undying passion for baseball. I don't like shoes. I like surrounding myself with people, and thoroughly enjoy just talking to anyone. It's truly difficult to provide an adequate example of my personality in a paragraph on a dating profile, so please, message me, and actually learn what kind of person I am.

I am currently a student at the University of Wyoming, and I'm close to earning my BA in History. I have plans to get certified to teach after graduation. I find it important to have fun as much as possible in my life.

I'm decent in school. I have a wonderful obsession with History and more specifically the Romans. I've even learned Latin in pursuit of more of an understanding of their culture. I like talking to people, and try to relate with everyone. I have a myriad of talents, all seemingly more useless than the last, but I love what I do with my life.

I'm tall. People tend to notice that I'm lumbering around at 6'3", and honestly I can't complain about it.

Books: My favorite book is the Hobbit. I pretty much love most books anyway, though. I love reading, and I have far too many books I like to list here.

Movies: Star Wars. I friggin love Star Wars. I also have a slight obsession with Transformers. Other favorites of mine include hero movies, comedies, Indiana Jones, and anything nerdy.

Shows: Firefly, How I Met Your Mother, Futurama, Simpsons, The Office, Dr. Who, Star Trek: TNG, etc. The list goes on and on.

Music: If you look at my iPod, it's incredibly eclectic. That said, I generally go through phases in music taste. It really just depends on what mood strikes me. Some of my all time favorites are Linkin Park, Coldplay, Jack Johnson, Deadmau5, Led Zeppelin, and Pendulum.

Food: Anything with pasta. I love Italian.

Life, women, money, school, everything. I think too much. Honestly I spend many hours thinking about my future, or about the next short story I plan on writing. It's an interesting mind I have, and it almost never stays in one place for too long. I enjoy thinking, though. Time you don't think tends to be time wasted.

I'm usually out with my friends, at someone's house, at the bars, or at a house party with all my co-workers. Or I'm hosting a Halo party. You know, whatever seems fun.

I have three of a body part that people generally only have a pair of.

I like to talk. I like to be around other people. I get excited when I meet new people. I love geeking out with other nerds. I like to talk about baseball. Honestly, if you're friendly, I want to talk to you.
