My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
So hi there. I'm that fellow up there in the picture. I'm a transplant to this fair city/state/geographic region, originally from somewhere in the middle of the country (not to narrow it down too much, but my hometown had an Arch). I’m a music junkie. I listen mostly to indie rock, but am pretty open to anything. I try to go to a lot of live shows (be they long-term favorites, or some local band I've never heard of), so meeting someone with similar musical tastes would be fantastic. I read quite a bit. I watch a lot of movies – I tend to lean towards independent films or classics (especially old film noir). I like little neighborhood bars much more than big clubs (places where you can actually hear the other person talk without it being drowned out by house music). That being said, I'm usually down for pretty much anything, and I'm definitely not opposed to louder nights or the occasional spontaneous dance party now and then. I like a good balance between more active days/nights out and nights at home curled up on the couch watching movies or playing games. I also like spending time in little hole-in-the-wall coffee houses, used bookstores, going to art museums/galleries,, or just holing up someplace and talking with friends. I'm trying to do more of the whole "outdoors" thing, seeing as there's all this nature around and whatnot, so a partner in crime on that front would be just dandy as well.

As to what I'm looking for in another person: I just want someone I get along with; someone that I look forward to seeing; someone with at least a few similar interests; someone who embraces some of their geekier tendencies; someone who is up for trying new things; someone who's not afraid to make a fool out of themselves sometimes and will indulge me when I do. To sum it up, I'm looking for a partner in crime. I'd like to be in a seriousish relationship, but that doesn't mean I'm looking to settle down and do the white picket fence thing anytime soon. I'm looking for someone who is down to join me on any and all adventures that lie ahead (be it travel, international intrigue, light larceny, or for-serious loitering). That's the endgame. That being said, until that comes along, I'm looking for swell people to hang out and enjoy life and this, our fair city with. I guess I figured I found my sofa online and that's worked out so why not try it with a relationship (for the record, that's the last time I'll compare you to a sofa. Promise).

I'm going to stop typing now.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I went to school for graphic design. I'm currently working as a bartender, so clearly everything is going according to plan. That's not a complaint, mind you. I love my job.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In no particular order (except alphabetical):
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Alas, probably working. Though I'm usually off in time to enjoy some sort of nightlife-based activity.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That's between me and the countess...
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over. are so inclined.

Or also if you want are wanting to actually meet up in the not too distant future. I'm not a huge fan of messaging back and forth for weeks on end. The way I figure it, we already know more about each other than if we met randomly out in the real world, and if you were indeed compelled to message me, you must feel we have at least some sort of common ground, so why not risk an hour or two to actually meeting up in person, yes?
