Hi, I'm Charles. I'm just this awesome guy under the guise of an average guy. I'm a nerd in recovery. I spent most of my teenage and college years playing with computers and learning as much as I can about anything and everything. I'd been so obsessed about my academic and work lives that I've never had the time or energy for a personal life. I've always been the shy guy in the corner and I still can't seem to gather up the courage to talk to a woman to save my life. Hence why I'm on a dating site such as this. I assure you, I've been trying to change my ways and can now actually carry on a conversation or two. Now it's a matter of not having any opportunities to meet a like-minded woman. I mean, where does a guy go to find a like-minded sane woman in her late 20s to early 30s who isn't married or in a relationship. I feel like I'm the worst hide-and-seek player ever.

I guess what I'm looking for is a woman who shares the same ideals and thoughts on life and would be willing to eventually marry a guy like myself [preferably me].

Recently I've come to the conclusion that there are certain qualities I appreciate in a woman. A woman that is passionate about what she does. A woman with a kind heart and an honest soul (yeah I know I'm reaching now ;) . A woman that tries to be healthy (ie visits the gym once in a while because that's what I've been trying to do myself). Someone who doesn't have a lot of baggage and doesn't play mind-games (tbh, I'm terrible at games). And most definitely someone with a terrific sense of humor, because I have a tendency to crack whatever joke is necessary to put a smile on a face.

Books: I kant reed! But if I could it'd probably be mostly boring technical books. Been trying to get into Sci-fi novels but I'm far too impatient to finish... UPDATE: I just got a Kindle and have been burning through "The Hitchhiker's Guide" with such frenzy... it's a hilarious read.
Movies: Anything with a good story and great dialogue. Kevin Smith movies (Dogma, etc), Firefly/Serenity, Dr. Horrible, Bollywood movies (I can't understand any of it, but thank god for subtitles), Back to the Future (yeah I'm old school), OfficeSpace, The Princess Bride(!), Don Juan DeMarco, The Man from Earth, etc...
Music: I listen to anything with a good beat even in languages I can't understand.
Food: Anything edible is fine by me.

The answer to the ultimate question of Life, the Universe and Everything in it. More specifically as of late, I've been pondering how to start my own company that deals with robots. I've always enjoyed playing-with/programming them and found them fascinating.

Sitting at home working on a project, watching a movie on Netflix, reading Slashdot/digg/reddit or on the Interweb looking for a wife... how awesome/socially-inept am I? I'd love to go out and explore, just don't have nobody to go with.
