My self-summary
I grew up in Indonesia but came to Vancouver to chase the Canadian dream. I've graduated from UBC with a degree in economics and I'm currently working in the real world while trying to "adult".
What I’m doing with my life
I work as a business analyst which is fun because I'm a huge freakanomics wannabe and I like to understand things through data and numbers.

Outside of work I try to stay active and learn new things. Lately I've been learning how to use kettle bells and I've also been getting into swing dancing. I've also spent the last year learning how to sail and dream of one day living on a boat and sailing down the west coast of the Americas,

I also like to indulge in my nerdy side by playing video games and reading comic books.
I’m really good at
Random geography and history trivia.
Referencing cartoon shows and Seinfeld
Knowing where I've seen actors in before but not remembering their names.
The first things people usually notice about me
They try to guess my ethnic background
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I've been into low fantasy lately so I've been finishing up ASOIF and anything by Guy Gavriel Kay.

I've been loving Mr. Robot and Hannibal lately. Also Nathan For You is comedic gold.
The six things I could never do without
Podcasts - I spend more time listening to podcasts than watching TV and movies.
Coconut water
Passport
The Ocean
Kindle
Friends and family (cop out but whatever)
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually hanging out with my friends, either at a bar, playing some video games or having a drunken, impromptu rap battle...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have an overdue library book.

My most badass moment in life was getting teargassed by Turkish riot police in Istanbul. I'd like to imagine that I was revolutionary sticking it to the regime but actually I just stumbled into the demonstration while I was trying to find my hostel.

When I was a kid my dad didn't want me to go into the attic, so he told me there were monsters there. It traumatized me.
You should message me if
Going to the library and dog watching sounds like fun.

You have a netflix account, my free trial has expired.
