What I’m doing with my life
I don't know yet what I will do after that. I think I will go to an university, but I don't know which program of study I should choose. I am a bit scared of thinking: "That will be the thing I am doing forever!"
In my free time I am working for an NGO which is supporting orphans in South Africa. We are only two years old but we grow fast, so we can support a lot of projects in Africa. We focus on education, which is in my opinion the best support.
And when I am not working in my free time I am listening to music, meeting friends or playing Badminton. (I know Badminton sounds very unsexy, but it's not! :P)
I’m really good at
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I love movies, which move me. (hah, pun!)
- Léon the professionell (because I could watch it again and again)
- Slumdog millionaire (because I just saw it and it touched me extraordinarily)
- Some Like it hot (because nobody's perfect :D)
- Le fabuleux destin d’Amélie Poulain (When I'm down, this movie gets me up!)
- Tarantino and Rodriguez stuff (these movies don't need a reason..)
- The Big Lebowski (because of the dialogues :P)
- High School Musical (okay, there are a lot of better movies, but I have to confess that I enjoyed especially the first part. it's so kitschy :D)
Muuusic :)
I think I couldn't live withouth music. But who can? Music makes me dance, cry, feel better. It's about everything.
My taste of music is always on the move. At the moment I enjoy electronic music, because I like to dance to it. But electronic music is more, it can loud or hushed. Most of all it's very innovative..ah, what the heck discover it yourself :). Justice, BEARBOT, Bankai, maybe Benji Hughes or RAC. They're great. If you want you can add David Guetta, but I don't hear him a lot.
After that I think there's acoustical music. Do you remember the commercial with a lot of balls bouncing down a hill in San Francisco? "One night to be confused, one night to speak out truth..." That's a cover by José Gonzales. I like to listen to his guitar and voice.
Or do you watchs Scrubs? Did you watch that episode where Dr. Cox friend played by Brendan Fraser died? It's very emotional.. and so is the song at the funeral. It's by Joshua Radin.
For the third artist I don't know a reference, but he's very great, although I always forget how to write him: William Fitzsimmons.
I also enjoy a lot of other music. I hear some pop, rock, hiphop, some classical music, old stuff.. I am open to every kind of music. But yet I don't like just one metal song. Maybe that's not my music. Or I discover it later, who know's..
So let's get to food:
As a child I was veeery picky! But know I like to discover new tastes. I don't have the "favorite meal", my favorite food is new food. Because it's like an explosion in your mouth! (If it's good ;))
The six things I could never do without
- friends
- humour
- change
- calmness
- advices by other people ;-)
