My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I would say I'm mostly out of the box, or sat on the lid. I'm very into the idea of being an individual without social restraints/expectations.

I used to be an art student which is probably why I am also an idealist and in my heart I still think of myself as an art student, I also love music with a passion, I would list it as alternative tastes, but that has become too focused these days, genre doesn't matter to me as long as I find it enjoyable/good. I love going to see bands live, and have been to several festivals.

I'm interested in most things, I tend to like to know anything and everything but can become distracted or intensely focused that I become oblivious to everything else. I also can be really passionate about things and it tends to show.
I like to be politically/socially aware to a degree, I love learning, yet I hate institutionalised education (or rather I can't get along with it, mild dyslexia doesn't help with anything what with handwritten notes and the like, give me a computer and an active spell checker and things are golden)

I like travelling, there are things and places that interest me that I would like to see with my own eyes and experience first hand, I also enjoy travelling to meet with friends, I've done several trips to the US to meet up with friends there and been to places like Italy, Germany, France and Spain.

I'm a nerd in the Wil Wheaton sense of the word (I like to geek in a Scott Pilgrim kind of way)
I'm a bit of a collector, I like physical media so I like to own things on books, vinyl, DVD, CD, ect.

I sometimes think I'm a walking contradiction and can even still surprise my friends with a few things they wouldn't expect.

mr fried = mystified, it's just a name I assumed years ago.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I have recently got new job in the private sector which I am enjoying greatly, it is a change in direction and presents different challenges, but uses the pharmaceutical qualifications and experience I have built up after working several years in the NHS.

I've been developing an interest in several aspects of Japanese culture, with learning Iaido, reading light novels and manga and watching a wide variety of anime and listening to certain pieces of music and artists, I'm even considering learning Japanese when I have the time.

I am also enjoying playing minecraft, as well as other games, but I don't spend as much time on those as I used to, and I have also stopped playing MMO's
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Art, Drawing especially, I do some acrylic and oil work, acrylics are better for me due to the quicker drying times. But I don't do so much of that now.

Picking up bits of useless information, remembering random things. I'm good at being random or throwing out quotes, also being highly irrelivent at times.

I like to think I'm quite good at making mix CD's
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Is usually wrong, and they never do tell.

I get highly animate about things I love/enjoy which people notice when I start talking about it, or it's mentioned somewhere, I'm also highly expressive apparently, people can tell what I'm up to or can guess what I'm thinking because of that, but that's countered by the fact I can sometimes switch off, or I go blank, or I phase out when my thoughts wonder, although sometimes I'm just listening or watching something intensely and that's why my face is blank.

Every now and then I get the urge to experiment in the kitchen as long as I'm only cooking for myself and not subjecting others to them.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Music, Tea Bags, Books, my Friends, my computer and of cause the Internet.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why is it that the dial on my shower has to be facing cold for it to come through warm?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Watching a DVD or something, or hanging out with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm actually shy which leads me to be socially awkward, once I'm comfortable with someone or in conversation I open right up, however I'm not very good working out what people are thinking and I miss hints so it's best to tell me things straight (I tell friends to write things on a giant sign and hit me over the head with it rather than just hinting). Also this makes it hard for me to make the first move as I really can't tell if someone likes me or not.
