My self-summary
I ended up on here due to some test ages back, I then decided to fill out the info thing 'just because' So thats how I got here.

Who am I? Good question: I am me and I can't truely sum things up in a box on here, I'm mostly out of the box, or sat on the lid. So this is just a fraction of who I am, ask me to tell you about me and I'll usually reply "what do you want to know?"

I used to be an Art Student which is probably why I am also an idealist, I'm very into the idea of being an individual without social restraints/expectations. I now work within the NHS after studying to work within Pharmacy and I don't draw or paint as much as I did, but still enjoy art and viewing works of art.

I love music with a passion, I would list it as alternative tastes, but that has become too focused these days, genre doesn't matter to me as long as I find it enjoyable/good. I love going to see bands live, and have been to several festivals.

I'm intrested in most things, I tend to like to know anything and everything but can become distracted or intensly focused that I become oblivious to everything else.
Also I like to be politically/socially aware to a degry. I love learning, I hate institutionalised education (or rather I can't get on with it, mild dyslexia doesn't help with anything)
I like some stand-up, mostly the works of Eddie Izzard and Bill Bailey
I like traveling, there are things and places that intrest me that I would like to see with my own eyes and experiance first hand, I also enjoy traveling to meet with friends, I've done several trips to the US to meet up with friends there and been to places like Italy, Germany, France and Spain.

I sometimes think I'm a walking contradiction and can even still suprise my friends with a few things they wouldn't expect.

mr fried = mystified, it's just a name I assumed years ago.
What I’m doing with my life
I work within the NHS which I enjoy when I am allowed to get lost in my work, like when I'm in the lab with my music on making on my own. I enjoy traveling and going to concerts and just taking life as it comes.

I was going for walks out and about alot, also taking photos while on the walks and doing some painting, but at the moment I have Meniere's (or so they think) and vertigo, so I'm watching DVD's and playing Minecraft.
I’m really good at
Art, Drawing especially, do some acrylics and oil work, acrylics are better for me due to the quicker drying times. But don't do so much of that now.

Picking up bits of useless information, remembering random things. I was good at maths and chemistry, but have forgotten much I learned at school, but still have an intrest in science, but I have an intrest in almost everything, so...

I'm quite good at organising and figuring out solutions and I'm not bad at problem solving, and when I apply myself I can become very determined.

I think I'm actually really good at making mix CD's

I'm good at being random or throwing out quotes, also being highly irrelivent at times
The first things people usually notice about me
Is usually wrong, and they never do tell.

I get highly animate about things I love/enjoy which people notice when I start talking about it, or it's mentioned somewhere, I'm also highly expressionate aparently, people can tell what I'm upto or can guess what I'm thinking because of that, but thats countered by the fact I can sometimes switch off, or I go blank, or I phase out when my thoughts wonder, although sometimes I'm just listening intently and thats why my face is blank.

Food, I like cooking from time to time, I'm complex when it comes to food, there are certain textures I dislike and so I can seem fussy at times (I dislike thick sauces and fat). Every now and then I get the urge to experiment in the kitchen as long as I'm only cooking for myself and not subjecting others to them.
The six things I could never do without
This is tricky so instead I'll list what the essentails to me are when I'm away.

Music,
Clothes,
Tea Bags,
Books,
I will buy coke and food
I meet or hang out with friends.

Other things are optional extras (why books and not DVD's/Computer/TV, well, you can take books anywhere and read anywhere and in such situations I'm either exploring durring the day or hanging with friends.

Fesitvals is the same list, but camping stove instead of books, and addition of alcohol on the shopping list. I enjoy camping out under the stars at fesitvals and it's a shame most fesivals have got rid of the camp fire, having a few drinks with your mates arround a camp fire is part of the festival experiance. Your deep in nature and away from city life, things make sence and everything feels right, it's the best way to chill out.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why is it that the dial on my shower has to be facing cold for it to come through warm?

If there is an age where people stop buying you fun gifts and start getting you shower gel and deoderant, is there an age where they stop getting you Lynx (Axe) and realise you are no longer a teenager?

"Why are there six peddles if there are only four directions?"
On a typical Friday night I am
Chilling out, chatting with friends, having a laugh/fun or grabbing a film or DVD, being thankful that work is over for the week.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm partially dyslexic and my handwriting can be a mess, I like typing on computers as it mostly solves both of those issues, although I'm not the quickest at typing. I have and do occasionally play games like WoW (now retired), SWG (left with the CU) Sims, KOTOR and whatever one of my friends lends me to try to get me into and playing... I view it as a way to have fun and hang out with friends I'd normally be unable to hang out with (most of them are American, we have a community that has survived over several years and we like to stay in touch)
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 22–36
  • Located anywhere
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-distance penpals
You should message me if
you wish to, please include stuff about yourself if you don't have a full profile, just as it provides a means of initial converation.

Also if you got this far and you haven't ran away screaming... :P
