My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm your typical meteorologist, originally from Wisconsin, and made Houston my home in August 2012. I work as a marine forecaster in a large, global aviation company, so you won't see me on TV anytime soon.

Most people pick up my verticality very quickly. It runs in my family; we came from a line of basketball players. Except for me. I got into hunting and shooting sports through. My three biggest hobbies are music, video games, and reading. I always have something on my kindle, though I still prefer old-fashioned print. I played video games for as long as I can remember with my brother, and it's still a hobby I engage in regularly. I listen to music every day: at work, at home, or on the way to work. My favorite genres are electronic, ranging from trance to progressive breaks, but I still greatly enjoy classical music, ranging from Mozart to Gershwin.

So, in summary, I'm a tall guy who doesn't play basketball, forecasts in an ocean environment for an aviation company, and listens to EDM and classical yeah, guess not so typical after all..

Books: Working on the Wheel of Time series right now. I love anything fantasy or sci-fi, but also enjoy a good mystery.

Movies: Run Lola Run.

Food: Asian cuisine especially, and after moving to Texas, I've really gotten into Mexican food.

I typically look to see if any of my friends would like to get together. That means movies, dinner, or games at someone's house. If not, I'll settle for a book, TV, or a video game.
