I received my PhD studying fluids. It's only a
pickup line if you want it to be :).
I seriously did perform experiments on fluid mixing though; ask me about it!
I have been busy with the PhD though, so would like to have some fun now. If anyone out there could help me, that would be great :)
Of course now with my new job I am busy once again; damn on call time!
Let's see, besides school ,... (I shall try to be short and sweet)
In Tucson I was taking a Kung FU class which I enjoyed a lot. We did meditation, breathing work and of course non-violent self defense.
Leaving Tucson meant I had to leave that as well; hopefully I find a replacement, yoga for sure at first.
I would say my best friend is my cat (Abby); cheesy I know.
Even though I get busy, with the PhD (and now work) and all, I hate the idea of locking myself in a box, so I make it a point to do my work at different coffee shops and I like to go out at night sometimes. I am pretty open-minded, many people will consider me liberal, but I like trying to understand all sides of issues and hence sometimes find myself debating the other side for intellectual curiosity.
I try to keep healthy and have recently become a vegetarian.
Sometimes I take on random hobbies. For instance I recently built a homemade 'laptop' (pretty nerdy I know). Unfortunately, I would usually bring it when I drove to coffee shops which I don't do much here; so I'm stuck with my sleek futuristic (not as powerful / cool) work laptop :).
Oh yeah, and i tend to be pretty modern in most ways except one. I am somewhat old fashioned in that it takes me a bit to become affectionate with someone i just met. So, if your someone who will only respond to me if i practically make out with you on the first date, we both will be wasting our time.
