Good books, fun shows and interesting movies are my jams and that place called Golden Gate park ain't too bad either. I recently relocated to LA after living in SF for the last six years.

I'm somewhat nerdy, confident, enjoy trouble making (usually in a playful Amelie type fashion), museums, science (I studied biology and philosophy at USC), nature, pretty things, oddities, good beer, fine wine, whiskey and SF turned me into a bit of a foodie.

I work a fair amount, but when I have time to myself I enjoy concerts, camping, hiking, parks, beer gardens, wine tasting and working out.

A couple of years back I completed my PADI certification on Ko Tao in Thailand. I haven't gone since, but I'm aching for a nice vacation to Mexico where I can pick that back up.

Observations are relative, so that would depend on the observer. At the same time, that's kind of a lame answer, so if I had to pick, it's probably either that I smile a lot or that I sound Canadian.

Note: I have no idea why I sound Canadian or if I even really do...

The Amazing Adventures of Cavalier and Clay, Shantaram, most Vonnegut, Tolkien, and RR Martin are all on my book shelf.

My most recent Pandora station was a Kinks station that ended up morphing into a hybrid of the Doors, Black Keys, Talking Heads and Johnny Cash. The last festival I went to was Gentleman of the Road where I saw Mumford and Sons and Gogol Bordello perform.

As for food, I love sushi and would probably eat it every day if it wasn't so damn expensive and I didn't have concerns with mercury poisoning (sad world we live in!).

I'm also a huge fan of spicy food and think that Tapatio, Siracha, Tobasco, and my lady Cholula all have certain occasions where one might be preferred over the other. That said, I try to stay away from Habaneros as those are just uncalled for....

Friday nights are typically atypical and may comprise any combination of beer, wine, whiskey, good conversation, a date, dancing, trouble, warehouse or house party (this is often where trouble takes place), concert, maybe a road trip for the weekend?

I will always be a kid at heart.
