I am an affectionate person who believes in connecting at many levels with others. I would consider myself an optimist in most ways. I enjoy the small things in life... that moment when you look across a room at your partner and lover and share a knowing smile, the perfect sunset, listening to the ocean crash on a warm, dark summer night, moments when words do not even have to be spoken. Things like that are just some of what makes life worth living to me. I guess I am a romantic at heart. I feel if you can live life as if there will be no tomorrow then you can appreciate the truly wonderful things that many people miss. I am a creative type who can see the beauty in everyday life. Compassion and honesty mean a lot to me. I have been told that my sense of humor can be both refreshing and sometimes warped. Not sure if that is a compliment or not! Being the optimist that I am, I will take it as one! I love to laugh... although I do enjoy deep and serious talk, too. I love to cook and no one has ever complained about a meal I have cooked although some have been a bit leery of the more exotic menus I have prepared. I love the sea, enjoy traveling but can be quite comfortable just laying in bed cuddling with that someone special. There really isn't enough room here to write about ALL that I am and I believe that talking with and meeting a person is the true test getting to know who they are.

I am currently doing some freelance work as a graphic artist and I have also just started a business with a friend that we are trying to get off the ground. Things are slow now but it is promising. I am exploring myself in new ways and finding that there is more to me than even I knew! It is a great journey. I am a work in progress and pretty comfortable with that fact. n my personal life, I also enjoy music, both playing my bass, guitar or just listening, cooking and friends. I am enjoying living in the "here-and-now" and am looking forward to all my tomorrows.

I consider myself relatively intelligent though I have no formal degree. I am a voracious reader and absorb much. I am self-taught in many areas ranging from the arts to aviation. Pretty much a cerebral jack-of-all-trades. I have been told that I am a pretty good bass player... modesty keeps me from agreeing most of the time. :0)

I am a good cook, pretty good with my hands and I recently lost my very first time at Trivial Pursuit last night (09-11-08)!

My off-center sense of humor. I have been told I have a laid-back attitude in most situations, too.

My tastes are very eclectic so this list would be way too long for the space they allow you here! Let's just say my tastes range from Sci Fi to Biographies, Art Films to Comedies, Beethoven to Zappa and almost ANY type of cuisine. These are some of my favorite interests.
