I love to laugh. I enjoy the simple things in life. I love music, theater, movies and outdoor activities in the summer. I wish I owned a boat. Spending time on the water is awesome! I enjoy camping in a tent or being pampered in a luxury hotel. If anything, I am definitely flexible. I like finding new activities to enjoy. I can not be pegged into a square hole because sometimes I am conservative and sometimes I am a "wild and crazy gal". Dont believe all those personality awards listed below! It depends on my partners in crime just how crazy I get! I am divorced. I have 2 boys (1 on his own and one with me part of the time) I spent 20 years in the Coast Guard and am very proud to say my oldest son has followed in my footsteps. The CG was a great career.

So if I add 409 more characters to my profile it will be 98% complete. I guess there is a little bit of competitiveness in me because I cant resist the urge to try to get to 100%. LOL What shall I say about myself? Oh, I know! I am not one of these gullible women who falls in love with a guy hundreds of miles away after he compliments her and tells her he loves her. So if you are one of those scam artists you might as well move on. I'd never give any money to any man. In fact, even after 15 years of marriage, my exhusband and I had completely separate bank accounts and paid our own bills. It certainly made it easier when it came to the divorce. I wonder if my picture is what attracts these scammers? Or do you all get those con- artists emailing you too?

I dont smoke. i dont use drugs. I dont like the taste of alcohol and havent been drunk since my 20s. ill have an occassional pina colada or stawberry daquiree every once in awhile.

Right now I am focusing on raising my youngest son. My kids are the most important thing in my life. However I do have time for myself too. I am looking for friends to spend time with when he is with his Dad. Someday I would love to find a great guy to be in a Long term relatonship with. It is nice to be able to share the ups and downs of life with someone special. Sometimes I do volunteer work. I think it is important to give back to the community in some way.

BOOKS: A few authors I like are Jonathan Kellerman, Deanna Raybourne, Clive Cussler. I like Harry Potter books too (ok sometimes Im a kid at heart!) Recently I read The Historian. It's interesting because it blends history, travel and vampires. In fact after reading this book it has sparked my interest in learning more history about the world and to do some traveling myself. The TWILIGHT series! Sci-fi, Fantasy, Medical-crime drama, Romance

MUSIC: I love all kinds of music. I most often listen to classic rock but lately have been listening to alot of Good Charlotte. I saw the Blues Brothers and loved the show! I really enjoy going to music concerts and will see just about anything except rap or opera.I listen to bands as wide ranging as Bee Gees, Rascal Flats, Irish music, Bob Marley, Jimmy Buffet, AC DC, Green Day, Heart, Alanis Morrisette, Boston, Beach Boys, Pink Floyd, Bluegrass (love the Cold Mountain Soundtrack) Madonna, Blondie, Supertramp, The Who, Rolling Stones, Lynyrd Skynrd, David Bowie, U2, Eagles, Moody Blues, Led Zeppelin, Doors, Mika, Blink 182,...Oh I could go on forever...

FOOD: I am open to trying new foods but draw the line at raw food like sushi or super super spicy. I do like mexican, indian and thai as long as its not the super hot dishes. My fav dinner would be a great filet steak with barbeque sauce cooked on the grill. Especially if my guy did the cooking!

MOVIES: Action, Drama, Comedies, Romance, Suspense, Sci-fi. I like movies with happy endings but will get into the off-the-wall ones once in awhile. I absolutely love M. Night Shamalyan movies. The Sixth Sense was incredible. Horror movies are ok if there is some kind of plot and not just blood and guts. But to be honest Id have to say my favs are the romantic comedies. I love laughing and walking out the door with a good feeling inside.

I love watching movies with my son. I love chatting online or surfing to look up new information. I do my shopping online too. I love relaxing in my tub after a long work week. I love music. Kids, family and friends are more important in life than almost anything.

(really I'd have to say my car as well but I think almost everyone can't live without a car nowadays!)

Alright, so now you get to learn one of my faults...I can be indecisive sometimes and have a hard time choosing between 2 things I really like. For example if i saw 2 pairs of shoes i liked i'd buy them both rather than have to decide...LOL SOOO..let me add some other things i cant live without...MY TUB, FRIENDS, MY POOL, MY JOB, MY BIG WALK-IN CLOSET, CHOCOLATE, PASTA

Most of my time is spent thinking about what new activity I can try, or what new place I can see. Each year since my divorce I've tried visiting a new city or locale. I have seen Washington DC, Old Orchard Beach ME, and rented a cabin on a lake in Mass. We visited NYC and had a great time. We did the parks in Florida. We swam with dolphins! Some other places i'd like to see are ireland, hawaii, caribbean resorts, australia, cruise alaska, greece, italy

Also, I have to admit I have been wondering if the online dating scene will really make it possible to find a good match for dating... How has your luck been so far? When I initially tried it out I found people to meet but it has been quite awhile since Ive had a contact online. Ive almost decided to give up on the online dating scene but will leave this profile online just in case my profile interests my perfect guy who I know is out there...lol (I told you I was optmistic!) Friday night I usually sit back and relax and watch a new DVD or pay-per-View. I play Mafia Wars on Facebook. I usually order in Pizza or Chinese and just take it easy after a long work week. (Or stop for a sub sandwich) Occassionally friends do get me to join them for dancing. I love music so if there is a group going out to see a live band I'll go too. Sometimes I might dine out with friends too.

this is a tough question... Most people I have noticed say something like I will tell you later. But I am an open and honest type person so I will be willing to share something here! I HATE exercise! I'd rather be a little overweight than get on that bike or treadmill every week. I do keep one in my room but havent used it in months.
