I'm looking for friends or potential dates who LIVE IN CHINA and plan to remain here at least a year. I'm not into one night stands, I'm looking for a potential serious relationship OR friendship (not friends with benefits).

I prefer guys who are funny, sweet, confidant but shy (or just quiet and seem shy), smart, independent, responsible and understanding. I like guys who work out or do sports (I'm chubby but I like and do a lot of sports: biking, hiking, dancing, etc), are slightly taller than me, have dark hair & eyes. I dont care about race, religion, income, social status. I'd prefer to be in an inter-racial relationship but only with guys who are willing to make an effort (Chinese guys I'm talking to you! I dont fuck around and I'm not looking to start something for a guy to freak out in a month because his family wont approve).

My Chinese is pretty bad but I can understand simple conversational Chinese if you speak slowly. I also am fluent in Spanish and I understand, but dont speak Italian.

Love them all. Sorry, I know lists help to show a persons tastes but I really am a fan of all these in general & love to experience new books, music & movies at any time or place.
I'm currently a "pre" apprentice (that is, in the book learning stage, not labor)film set painter which I am soooo excited about. I love stories, making them, telling them, writing, painting, dreaming them & having anything to do with make a story "real" is incredibly satisfying to me. I also hope to continue my education in film and at some point branch out into acting, script writing and directing/producing, just because I want to learn how it feels to tell a story from these different perspectives. :)

Food is an awesome adventure. My eating goals include: Iguana, alligator/crocodile, grasshoppers etc. I've eaten shark, frogs and more :D

I've been extremely interested in sustainable living for a while now and am particularly in love with the concept of earthships (earthship.com). I would love to build a place of my own and have a garden for all my agriculture needs, as well as raise some farm animals. A major goal of mine is to someday buy a large plot of land and build a bunch of self sustaining structures and have a sort of big hippy/artist commune where everyone would produce what they needed or barter for it and it would be like those artist communes where you get a scholarship to stay for a few months and explore your self and your art.

About my interests: I have a number of interests but they almost all derive from one of 4 subjects: Art, music, literature & psychology. So to put it more bluntly tho: I love barbecuing, cooking, new recipes, new foods, dancing, music (almost anything you can thin of), experimental film/art/music/literature styles, movies (I can enjoy fluff as much as demanding intellectual fare), conceptual art is a major love of mine and something I want to engage more in, bright visuals, textures and sensation, biking, running, exploring, singing. I like decorating things and plotting out where to put furniture. I'm annoyingly fascinated with the concept of bartering and adore bartering my time/work/stuff for other people's time/work/stuff. I think it is an amazing way to meet people, learn about the world, live responsibly & ethically, and really just find out what you truly value and why & figure out how things fit into your world. I try to not keep stuff for the sake of having stuff (I do have a lot of nice stuff lol) but because it somehow fulfills me and enriches my life. :D
