I arrived in LA in Spring 2012. I've moved around a bunch, but I'm here to stay.

I like bow ties and baking pies. I don't often rhyme.

I hesitate to tell people that "The Silence of the Lambs" is my favorite movie. I promise it's because of the collective craftsmanship, not because I relate to subject matter.

I enjoy cooking & eating, movies & television, seeing & learning about my new city, and I've just started learning about Scotch.

I'm an actor... which is to say I currently wait tables. My goal is to be a working actor. I don't need to be famous, but I don't want these day jobs anymore.

Baking pies, identifying Aretha Franklin's voice from a distance, singing karaoke (go to song is Barry White's "Can't Get Enough of Your Love", but why sing just one?), and quickly memorizing lines.

My voice is lower than my face suggests.

Books: Angels in America, To Kill a Mockingbird, Devil in the White City, The Little Dog Laughed, The Real Thing, The End of the Affair, Tales of the City, Doubt: A Parable, I Like Science, anything by David Rakoff. I read more plays than books. Up next is an Edward Carpenter biography, and I keep meaning to read The Normal Heart.
