My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I was born and raised in the NW and have never lived anywhere other than Oregon (Not a an advocation or anything, just a fact). I love our deserts and our coast. I even enjoy the rain most of the time. I love to see/visit other places and and thoroughly enjoyed using my passport for the first time in May.

I'm not a girlie girl but I can doll up with the best of them. I adore the versatility of my jeans but I love to have an excuse to wear a dress or heels.

I like to get out and do things but also enjoy evenings in. If you were to cook me dinner I would have more fun if you had me in the kitchen helping.

I don't mind getting dirty. Want to hike muddy trails? I'm in. Want to show me how to change my oil? I'm under the car with you.

I'm funny, witty, silly, and sarcastic. I like to do crosswords but enjoy them more when I have someone to work on them with.

I have a dog, an 8 yro 1/2 pug 1/2mastiff/beagle mix. He is super sweet, pretty smart and mostly well mannered (he still licks himself in public).

You: Should think you are awesome but have a healthy dose of humility. Be funny, conversational, charming, intelligent (boy, intelligence is sexy as hell) and treat your mother with respect. Treat a gal like a lady but don't let one walk all over you.

If I ask you how something looks on me, be honest. I want you to be proud of how I look. I will never wear something I don't like just to impress you and I can take criticism.

Outspoken is ok but being a douche or hurtful is not. Neither is being passive-aggressive. Honestly, it's likely it would be lost on me anyway. I try to take things at face value. Playing games to decide what someone really meant isn't fun.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Cherishing the time I spend with my family. Helping my friends with projects. Savoring the depths of my friendships and cultivating new ones.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I don't know that I'm really good at anything but I'm kinda good at a few things and dabble in a whole lot more. I can cook. I'm not great but I don't suck. I can sew, a little. I can play even less piano. I loved playing soccer even though I was convinced I was going to die while I was on the field. I'm creative. I turned a couple of cupboard doors into a bench from materials taken from IKEA asis and the ReStore. Most recently I've been sewing. I quilted a huge personalized comforter for my brother's birthday gift (it was the first quilt I ever made).

I used to be really good at falling but I think I managed to outgrow that (man do my knees thank me).

Although my profile may not reflect it very well I am good at conversation. I'm smart but can have a blonde streak once in a while (I just tell myself it makes me endearing).

I'm pretty good at geocaching, if that is a claimable skill.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My blue eyes and my smile.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
My favorite movies depend on my moods but I love The Notebook, Dirty Dancing, and Grease. I also have a fondness for Robin Hood Men in Tights, Monty Python, and most animated movies like Mulan, and How the Emperor Lost his Groove.

Guilty pleasure for reading was Harry Potter and Twilight (although I only watched the movie for the local bits). My reading varies when I make time for it. I just started reading Daring Greatly by Brene Brown. I'm also reading/watching much homework these days (R programming, Python, Data mining).

Love going to the movies and I like it all. I will wrap around your arm like a python if you are with me for a scary movie. I cry at sappy movies but try to keep it a secret. Love popcorn but can't stand to get the butter on it.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My family (including my partner), friends, dog, car, phone, bacon. But mostly my family and friends (and bacon). I'd still land on my feet if I didn't have all the other trappings of life.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What color I should paint my toenails. Just kidding. Lately I've been thinking of the things I would like to accomplish and how I can work towards completing them. Going to Burning Man for the first time. How to continuously make myself a better person.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Catching a movie. Going to karaoke. Watching tv. Relaxing with my dog. Hanging with my friends. There isn't anything typical about my Friday. I could be found doing just about anything.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I ate dog food voluntarily. Also I can't go to bed with the closet door open.
