My self-summary Propose an edit

It's hard for me to say who I am, as it seems to be in a constant state of flux. I spent most of my adult years as a party person, and while I love that part of my persona, I also know it's kept me from being close to some pretty amazing women.

If you've been here before you will notice a change in the tone and tempo. My previous summary led me to some really neat and fun people, and now I would like to meet some people that would be interested in something more... stable. :-)

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

I get to travel around the U.S. and Canada for swing dance events, mainly throwing and attending the after parties. I also love games and competitions and have designed a number of treasure hunts (where teams get a clue that will lead them to the next clue location when solved) that go throughout Austin.

I also supervise events for Landmark Education, one of the leading personal development companies in the world. I do coaching and training during the weekend courses as well as in other aspects of my life. It's one of the things that has helped me see that, while I love parties, I also miss being in a close relationship.

Lots of stuff. I try to learn as much as I can about the things that interest me. I am good at sports and love playing games with friends. I used to play poker professionally on-line and still run tournaments around town. I love making a difference people's lives and am great at having people see things from a different perspective. I am also a pretty amazing kisser.

I spend a lot of time thinking about Propose an edit

Being in love. I have been in a number of long-term relationships, but it seems that it is often out of convenience, not passion. I also never really let myself give everything I had to the relationships. This summer I fell head over heels for an amazing woman in New York. It was brief, but it let me see that I really can let myself fall for someone. And I now see that as much as I have avoided it in the past, I love being in love. Now where do I find the person in Austin that I can let myself fall for?

I miss the feeling of being completely devoted to someone. I love women who will let me treat them like princesses, like letting me open the car door when they are getting out of the car or sending them gifts for no reason. Not because they can't take care of themselves, but because I love being able to act on the impulse to let someone know I am thinking about them.
