My self-summary
Friendly. Entrepreneur. Musician. Geek. Humorous. Beer drinking. Traveling. Jokester. XY.
What I’m doing with my life
Working hard. Making music. Enjoying life. Planning my transcontinental existence. Still trying to figure out how I can give back to humanity in my own way.
I’m really good at
Picking up on languages fairly well. Computer stuff, keeping up with current events. I also play a mean guitar solo & rock the drums.
The first things people usually notice about me
widow's peak? I have yet to survey my friends on this question.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Don't really harp on one author or another. Some ones i've enjoyed are Castaneda, Orwell, Dawkins, Chomsky, Kafka, Burroughs, random astrological books, new-age kind of stuff, audio engineering books and other oddities. I used to drag all my books around life...but now I find having "stuff" to be oppressive, so i've digitized 90% of my book collection (sorry purists!) and try to keep possessions to a minimum.

Movies: My tastes range from sci-fi to foreign flicks to comedy to mind fucks, but almost never into action packed helicopter chase thrillers (yawwnnnnn). Some favs: Ed Wood, Edward Scissorhands, Lost Highway, Dr Strangelove, Neverending Story, Pulp Fiction, Lil shop of Horrors, Big Trouble in Little China, Princess Bride, Exit through the Gift shop, Dark Crystal, Fish Called Wanda, La Mala Educacion

Music: jazz, rock, prog, classical, punk, disco, blues, funk, electronic, experimental noise.

Mastodon, Mars Volta, King Crimson, Aphex Twin, Aesop Rock, De Facto, Mozart, Op Ivy, Fugazi, Battles, Bowie, Don Cabellero, Ratatat, Dave Brubeck, Charles Bronson, Depeche Mode, Queens of the Stone Age, Botch, Converge, Blonde Redhead, Queen, Michael Jackson, Bowie...etc

Seinfeld, Family Guy, Simpsons, Bourdain, Lost, Conchords. Breaking Bad, House of Cards, Dexter, Blue Planet, Arrested Development, Mad Men...etc

Food: Thai, Indian, Japanese, Israeli, Chinese, Italian, Mexican.
The six things I could never do without
A guitar, internet, beer, music, oxymorons, caffeine
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My bi-continental life. Why people can't comprehend the simple act of standing to the side of the train doors when they open. How I live among some of the smartest and stupidest people in the world at the same time. If Castaneda really wrote his books while tripping on Peyote. Why this world is obsessed with crime, war and weapons. Fat people who eat fast food. If a word is derived from Latin or not. How inefficient I find the human body to be and what I would change. Townies and people who have never been beyond 5 blocks from their home. Getting rich. Helping the world.
On a typical Friday night I am
I'm a spontaneous (last minute) planner, so it could be anything.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have a sometimes embarrassing sweet tooth. Trying to tame that shit.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 21–34
  • Near me
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
You are a thinker, friendly, good sense of humor, not easily offended, you're creative. You are not religious, you are not a raging republican or otherwise myopic in your thought processes.

You can drink....i don't mean physically....i mean more than 2 drinks without falling into a coma. You don't check me in on foursquare during our date. You don't take yourself too seriously and you love to laugh, even at your own expense!

If you're still reading this and like what you've read, then give yourself a cookie and say hi!
