My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I may not be your Doctor, but I'll likely be your Rory (go nerds!). I'm up for almost anything (seriously, try me!), but regularly get lost doing almost nothing (those aimless nights are the ones with the wildest stories after all, are they not?) I have an innate fascination with almost everything, a never-ending quest to learn. Consequently I tend to get excited easily, which I've been told is an endearing quality. I attribute great happiness in my ability to make others happy, and consider it a particular strength. I am a creature of comfort, and will tend to follow the path of experience vs taking big risks, but I am insatiable in my lust for new experiences. I'm an intelligent, determined and happy guy who's looking for a little crazy to match my groundedness ( I think I just made up a word o.O) (not saying I can't get equally crazy, it's just not my default).
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I've recently had to undergo relatively major surgery for Crohn's disease, so I'm currently taking a semester off from graduate school to recover. Other than that, I will be venturing off on my career journey beginning January 2015 with a major accounting firm. My free time is usually spent studying for the CPA exam or pursuing one of my extracurricular hobbies...for a few more months at least.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making amazing toast. I can't cook, though I'm fascinated by it, and would consider myself a foodie in general, but I'll be damned if I can't handle that toaster like a champ.

Knowing one second too late when I should have shut up.

Having a dirty mind, and a sometimes dirty mouth.

Picking out the best restaurants.

Budgeting (I'm an accountant after all)

Because I feel like a section titled " I'm really bad at" would be more telling than the current one, I'll take a crack at it.

I'm really bad at:
1) making decisions
2) decorating any living space
3) Grammar (if you must correct me, make sure you teach me the correct way or I'll continue to piss you off with my horrid grammar
4) Filling out this profile
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm often told I have a familiar face.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
District 9, Memento, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight...oh heck anything by Christopher Nolan. The Hangover, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Knocked Up, Superbad, Back to the Future 1 and 2 (you can keep number 3, thank you very much), Home Alone, E.T., Inception, The Sixth Sense, Fight Club, Old School, The 40-Year Old Virgin, crappy horror movies, good horror movies

Doctor Who, Archer, Breaking Bad, Orange is the New Black, South Park, Family Guy, Futurama, American Dad, The League, Always Sunny, Arrested Development, The Walking Dead, Modern Family

I feel like the music section is the area where it's almost impossible to not be pretentious (and some people bask in it), so I'll just make it simple. I like hip-hop, EDM, some jazz. Ask more for specifics.

Spanish, Italian, Japanese...really anything. I love spicy food!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My phone, a mode of transportation, 4 seasons, a good night's sleep, the internet, craft beer
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Hedonism and how to get the most pleasure while still accomplishing everything I need to do.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I have an atypical work schedule right now, so it all depends on if I'm working or when I'm working again. Any number of things could be going down. From drunken shenanigans to watching a movie to bar hopping, I like to mix it up.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Haha, I'm not that easy. A little mystery never hurt anyone ;)
