My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi, I'm looking for someone to share my life with. I've been divorced for 7 years, have 2 girls who are still in school, and spend alot of time in the mountains. I love to ski, bike, workout, hike, go to sporting events, go out to dinner, and watch movies, among other things. I'm not like most guys(I'm much handsomer!), and I have a great sense of humor, so you'd better have one too. I love women who are in shape, and go to the gym frequently. If you want an average, laid back, "normal" guy, you might want to move on. I can't even spell noormul.
It seems that a quite a few women on this site are staunch liberals, and are looking for the same. I'm a fiscal conservative, social middle-of-the-road, but I am at a point where I believe ALL politicians are crooked, and working against us. I have liberal friends, and have dated liberal women, and the key is rational discussion, and acceptance of someone else's views, or their right to their views. I also feel that extremism, to either side, can be "over the top".
On the lighter side, name the song that contains these lyrics:
"But my love for you is like a sinking ship, and my heart is on that ship out in mid-ocean."
Not really the lighter side, but what the hay...
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I've got a great job that I work hard at. I'm still raising my daughters, but not all the time. I coach ski racing, but just during the winter and train for the MS150 in the Spring. Fall is football season(ever been to a CU game?), and summer is for chillin in the mountains, and traveling. Other than that, I'm not doing much.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Skiing, biking, and making people laugh.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My freakishly large hands and feet, and my "Sparkle" (not my words)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books-Game of Thrones series, Grisham books, The Tipping Point, The Last Boy(Mickey Mantle book, GREAT!), The Prize. Movies/Shows- Raising Arizona, Fargo, Pulp Fiction, the Sopranos, Homeland, Californication, Pulp Fiction, Early Bond Movies.
Music-Rock and Roll, baby!
Food-Anything but liver!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Lobster, my daughters, reading, chocolate, tunes, and...needle nose pliers!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to be a better Dad, and person, for that matter. What lies ahead and how I'm going to deal with it. How the Buffs can turn their football program around. How, and why, women spend so much time painting their toenails. Who invented liquid soap, and why. Most importantly, where are all the unicorns???
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either in the mountains tuning my skis, having a great dinner with a good bottle of wine, having my first shot of tequila in Cabo, listening to live music, or hanging with my daughters. I dont have typical Friday nights, typically.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm getting better with age!

You want to meet a fun guy, and you think we'd have something in common. If you're not active, don't like to get outside and do things, and don't enjoy an occasional cocktail, we're probably not right for each other. Ladies, you really need to have more than one picture. I don't care what your cat, dog, snake, llama, wolverine, car, motorcycle, or house looks like. And, while I enjoy a nice sunset, oceanview, mountainscape, view from space, or stand of trees, what I'm most interested in are pictures of YOU! Get the picture? Oh, and if you don't have ANY pictures, don't bother. Also, if you think you're a unicorn, please say so.
