I’m a playful sort, curious and game for most any adventure. I’m outgoing and very comfortable with myself and others. I find the older I get the more interested I am in meaningful conversation. I have a knack for creating community; for fun, for learning, for connection. You come to a point where you realize relationships are simply at the core of everything.
I bought my home in Maynard in mid August 2014, as my desire to be closer to nature was strong. And while I loved living in the Waltham/Newton/Watertown area (nearer to Boston) for 16 years or so, I enjoy walking out my front door and being only steps away from conservation land… though still close enough to enjoy Boston and all it has to offer.
After a 28+ year career in IT, from developer to manager, I jumped in 2010… and reinvented myself. Best thing I ever did on so many levels! Now I work for myself helping others figure out what they want for their own lives, what could be fulfilling personally and professionally… and then I work with them around making it happen. And I do leadership and team development. I love my work… it’s so very rewarding.
My happy, compassionate daughter brings me the most joy. She is confidently making her way in this world, and amazes me regularly with her intelligence and outlook on life. She makes me so very proud.
I have lots of family in Hungary; my father was born there. And I have friends across the US and all over the world… South Africa, India, France, Canada, Netherlands, England. I’m so grateful to have been involved with a couple programs over the past several years that have introduced me to these lovely people. My intention is to work less and to travel more in the coming years. I’ve only traveled to Canada, Hungary and Kenya so far… and there’s a lot more on my list!
My interests are varied... movies, museums, theatre, dining out, music of all sorts, concerts, comedy, hiking, yoga, exploring new areas, taking classes... life-long learner here! It would be great to share these and your interests as well.
I’m interested in meeting a man of integrity who is happy with himself and his life. How fun would it be to come together as two self-aware, open-minded individuals, who trust their intuition, and are open and emotionally available to connect when the right partner comes along? Conversation, seeing and appreciating each other, contemplating the wisdom and poignancy of life, unrushed and easy… playful, adventurous, romantic and real. I’d like to feel that irresistible pull again, that undeniable attraction and connection that grows out of great friendship… best friends and lovers. I believe that’s possible. Do you?
