My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
About me: I have the heart of a girl. I will giggle uncontrollably on a whim. I name my animals after food. I drink hard cider because it is dry. I can't kill a thing and will bait my own hook as long as it doesn't involve killing the worm! I love the fall and winter seasons the most, tolerate spring and melt in the summertime. I love my job and could talk about it for hours. I walk about 19 miles a week with a small dog you could probably drop kick. I inherited him. He came with a food name. It was meant to be. I enjoy short hikes (6-8 miles), canoes, kayaks and one day I would love to learn to sail. I grew up on the Chesapeake Bay and can't fathom being to distant from shore. Most annoyingly, I leave wet towels on the bed, make many bio-stops during road trips and I get my but kicked by auto-correct frequently. I dream of owning an underground home or a container on a lake, a pottery studio, and maybe a trailer by the beach somewhere isolate. Ideally, to be able to eat from the lake and the land seems gratifying to me.

About him: He must be kind; kind to me, to the girl at the drive through and the store clerk. He will hold the door for me, the little old lady behind me. He will treat me like he expects someone to treat his daughter. Passionate about life, love and family. Spontaneous, and wants to pick up and go every now, then just for the weekend. He will find my rambling charming, even entertaining. We will go to the ballet, the art museum, the theatre, or to the bar to watch a game. Sometimes, he will just give me tickets and tell me to take a friend. Maybe he will join me at yoga or cook with me in the kitchen? He must sing along in the car, kiss at red lights, dance in the kitchen, and sit on the same side of the booth with me. He plays a competitive game of Scrabble but never beats me (because he can't). He believes in flowers or small tokens of "just because" and that they aren't necessary but feels joy in giving. Loyal and honesty are proud traits of his. Communication is autonomic. He entertains, and enjoys family and friends. He is a dreamer and a do-er. He finds a sense of pride in taking care of his loved ones and wants a family of his own in the future.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am still trying to figure this one out. I spent 13 years in college, wandering aimlessly.

I did start a small creative side gig that I run out of my garage, re-purposing bullet cartridges into fashionable 2A wears.

Leaning to play violin.

Hopefully, fulfilling my purpose here on earth.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
1. my job.
2. being a daughter. My mom is one of my best friends.
3. keeping a clean shower.
4. not finishing my food, ever.
5. having fun.
6. hitting the mark.

I am really bad at reading minds. Speak yours. I will speak mine, tactfully of course.

My smile. CHEESE!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Favorite book: A Tale of Two Cities, Great Expectations, the pigeon series by Mo Willems (and props if you don't have kids and know Mo)
Favorite Movies: Tombstone, Pulp Fiction, anything Hitchcock, Pride and Prejudice (with Firth, and also a favorite book), The Princess Bride, The Kingsman, and anything Tarantino
Favorite shows: (enter cricket noises, I don't watch a lot of TV....I know: Arrested Development, Dead Like Me)
Favorite food: Gonza Tacos!
Favorite Music: This one is difficult. Seriously. I am a former professional ballroom dancer. All music makes me move. It truly depends on the moment. I am learning to play violin. I hear music in strings, almost always, for the past 20 years or so.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) Family and Friends (since friends are the family you choose, this is really just 1 item, not two)
2) Aveda & Tiffany &Co, my two splurges
3) The internet
3.5) Art & the ability to create.
4) The sunlight on my face, sometimes the puddles under my feet.
5) Water, I drink more than anyone else you know.
6) A bra! Seriously, I would stash these in an underground bunker if someone told me all the bra makers in the world are quitting.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How I can fix things. I am a fixer. I want to help those whose heart speaks to mine. Also, building an underground home, or something container-ish....
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
alone, at the movies or on the lawn of the art museum. Sometimes, I am on my porch. Sometimes I am on my best friend's porch. It depends on if I am feeling like company or enjoying my solitude. Sometimes, I am in the pottery studio getting muddie. Mostly, as of late; I spend time on a friend's farm. We cook, laugh, cheer all while holding a chicken and watch the goats chase the pigs out of the house......yes, you read that correctly. Sometimes, I am working.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
This one time at band camp......

If you know an evil genius......

If you enjoy sitting on the lawn of the art museum at 9:30 on a Friday night watching a Hitchcock film drinking an adult beverage.

You also name your animals after food

If you have a Tardis, and sometimes tell people you are the Doctor

If you can dance
