My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hello, I'm Paul.

I wish I could give a good clear message about myself but for some reason I can't. I can list some random facts about myself and hope that gives you a picture of who I am. Sound good? Great.

I'm a comic book nerd and proud of it. I'm one of those guys that goes and buys comics every week when they come out and I love going to conventions. Reading comics woke up my love for drawing. Now I tend to doodle when I should be doing my homework.

I used to be on the SEMO Debate Team and I loved doing it. I enjoy debating at tournaments or at a table with friends and random people. I enjoy politics. I am Liberal while living in a defiantly Red district. It's a cross to bear. I often find myself ranting on Facebook about the crazy right wing/Tea Party stuff people around me say or when friends who are Liberal call me in about crazy stuff they have heard. Is it bad that I enjoy it this much?

I was raised Lutheran and I still am. I am a relaxed Christian. I won't beat you with a Bible and force you to accept God's loving embrace. I believe religious beliefs (or lack thereof) are private things and while I love discussing them, I'm not out to convert people. You pray to your invisible friend (or not) and I will pray to mine.

I have ADHD. On days where I don't take medication for it my mind flies off in every other direction. It can make having a conversation very, well, interesting. My friends say I tend to talk in circles. Basically, while I am talking on a topic something else will pop up in my mind and I will follow that road until another pops up and so on until I eventually reach the end of the story. I guess my mind takes the less conventional path but I get there all the same. It is something I can feel coming on. Sometimes I may briefly mention the side thought and continue on, usually with people I don't know as well.

I do "Rocky Horror" religiously. I am part of a shadow cast and we have been performing since 2008 in Cape Girardeau. I play Eddie.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm taking the long way to being a teacher. I'm planning on teaching theatre, history, or government.

I currently work at a gas station while I try to survive college.

I started to exercise recently and while it has been kicking my ass I am really happy with it and proud of myself.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Nerd stuff and random trivia. I don't know why but I retain the most useless facts. Like, there have been six different characters to be called "Captain America" in the main Marvel universe. Useless but fun.

Or, the reason theatre performances are (almost) never scheduled on Mondays is so that the ghosts of the theater can have a day to put on their plays.

On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either out with friends or relaxing, depends on who's free and what's going on.

Most likely though, working.
