I am amused, callipygean, and snarky.
My Self-Summary
My favorite quote and one I try to remember everyday is "Humans are
cowards in the face of happiness. It takes courage to hold on to
happiness."
I'm weird in a normal way and normal in a weird way. I'm innocently
filthy to quote a good friend.
I love the feel of
water and don't mind a bit of a cold as a
result. But I dislike being cold.
I listed myself as bi but I refer to myself as very friendly.
I'm fat/curvy/chubby/chunky; how ever you want to say it. Don't
like it? Don't message me.
I love touching and cuddling. I'm a complete snugglewhore. I cuddle
and hug my friends, and pets as well as lovers.
I'm easily startled but hard to faze.
Ive taken to collecting wigs so that I can pretend to be someone
else for a while.
I am very much a softy when it comes to animals, almost to an
embarrassing point: I once ran from a theater because the movie
showed a dog being microwaved, but I did get to talk to a cute
popcorn boy.
I am a nerd and a geek; some of my geek areas are japanese culture
and music.
My mind is full of weird facts that I randomly say when they pop in
my head. I'm both shy and hyper.
I babble when nervous or clam up completely.
I love to laugh so anything that does that is great; tickling,
comedy, jokes. Even dirty/offensive jokes are good, I kind of hit
my maximum maturity level at 16 so dumb sex jokes always get a
laugh.
I can be very girly but not in that "eww a snake/rat" kinda way.
Point in fact, I love snakes and rats.
I love fluffy dresses, stompy boots, spikey/chainy decorations and
artistic destruction. Also non artistic destruction; sometimes one
just needs to hear a good smash. It clears the air.
I've got a huge dog, a spoiled cat and a strange guinea pig. If you
don't like animals, I'm going to annoy the piss out of you.
I love things that belong in the "Uncanny Valley"
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a graduate of WCI and working now; working on a B.S. in
biology.
Listening to
music.
People watching and creating mysterious pasts and adventures for
them; Fixing up my house (meaning watch for flying paint and wood).
Playing my bass and pretending I'm a rock star! Cooking for work,
Baking for fun. Gardening, walking and training my dog. Taking lots
bubble baths. I have an addiction, I'm putting the workers at LUSH
through college.
I've started body painting. I put music on and then paint the
images my synaesthetia shows me on to the person's body.
I’m really good at
I understand music and biology better than most people. Getting
crushes on the oddest people for strange reasons. Sometimes they
aren't the best people to have said crushes on. Dancing like a
monkey. Baking, candy making, making people laugh, being a brat,
being a sweetie, laughing at my ability to be graceful and clumsy
at the same time. If you know me you've probably seen me walk in to
or trip over things all the time. Walls and telephone poles are the
most common.
Slaughtering the English language; Until the age of 5, I spoke in
German and Spanish mostly, only using English when I had to. I went
to kindergarten and was so behind in my ability to speak English
that the teachers frightened my mother into not letting me use any
other language. Cause of this I lost my German and Spanish, and
English has never sat right with me. I tend to use words by how
they feel rather than what the real meaning is. The word "squishy"
pops up very often, as a compliment, adjective, verb, noun. The OED
would have a stroke around me. And that's just how I like it.

The first things people usually notice about me
Took a poll and the consensus is: my eyes. Also when I notice
anyone looking at me I turn bright red. Very very red. Which makes
people remark on it which then makes me redder. It's a never ending
cycle. The fact that I dye my hair random colors probably doesn't
help stop people from looking at me. Also walking a behemoth of a
dog garners some stares too.
That I am far away. I am paying attention, it's just I'm easily
distracted; there is more going on in my head than you could
imagine. I drift off into daydreams easily, but I don't mean to be
rude. Give me a poke and I'll come back.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
A- I read alot of historical fiction and vampire novels and *my
shame* romance novels. I read science and bio text books all the
time. I'm reading through Gray's Anatomy right now. I will read
almost anything in fiction and lots of varied genres of nonfiction.
Yes, I'm a geek - I like comics and manga, Sanctuary,
Transmet, The Invisibles,
Fables, Blue Monday, 100 bullets, X-men evolution, fushigi yuugi,
JTHM, strain. All in all, it's easier to ask what I haven't read
than to ask what I have. I love reading almost as much as I love
music. I have a strong soft spot for children's fiction, just for
the levels of absurdity in them.
B- The Virgin Suicides, The Pear aka Shooting The Moon, FLCL; most
Miyazaki; Kill Bill (Go-Go is so hot); Hellboy; Van Helsing (The
visuals are hot; everything else is so bad, it's funny); A
Clockwork Orange; Gone with the wind; Grave of the fireflies; What
the *#@$ do we know; The Piano; Heavenly Creatures; Harry Potter
and....; The Goonies;
In the Company of
Wolves; Labyrinth; Legend;
Neverending Story;
Ginger Snaps 1 and 2
and 3; Lola Rennt; Pan's Labyrinth; Sin City; Serenity; Lock, Stock
and Two Smoking barrels; Go; Interview with a Vampire; The Craft;
Moulin Rouge;
Shimotsuma Monogatari
(
Kamikaze
Girls); Ratatouille; Suicide Club (Jisatsu Circle); Anything by
Takeshi Miike; Hairspray; LOTR; I love cartoons so I'm a huge fan
of most children's movies and disney movies.
C- ok this is a bit tricky cause I'm just synaesthetic enough that I
experience music with more senses than hearing. This means that
sometimes I have to restrain myself from jumping someone in the
vicinity after listening to certain songs on the radio. Mostly, it
means I don't need drugs, just CDs. Which is good cause they're
cheaper. So I listen to anything and everything as long as I like
it. It is easier to ask me what I don't like in music than what I
do. I like just about everything. And I'm finding new things all
the time. My taste runs the gamut from soft: Mozart and Vivaldi, 20's jazz, swing, teeny bopper 50's
music, billy joel, Enya, new age hippy stuff, musical theater
soundtracks; rock: Smashing pumpkins #1,
The
Birthday Massacre, Joy Divison, New Order, The Cult, Social Distortion,
Coil, KMFDM,
Melotron, Eisbrecher, Concrete Blonde, Kidney Thieves, L'ame
Immortelle, Front 242, Diatribe, Frontline Assembly,
Einstürzende Neubauten, Danzig, some Ministry, Luxt Skinny Puppy, led zepplin, The Pogues, Heart,
most early 90's "alternative", Rammstein, red hot chili peppers,
the cure, NIN, TKK, fleetwood mac, poe, depeche mode, ACDC, Judas Priest,
Blue Oyster Cult, Tapping the Vein, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs,
Android Lust,
Switchblade Symphony, She
Wants Revenge, Bauhaus, Chemlab; pop- won't name my shame just I
love to dance and will listen to some insipid crap if I get to
shake my ass, japanese music is a big fav - Malice Mizer, Ayumi
Hamasaki, Utada Hikaru, Morning Musume, The Brilliant Green, Nana
Katase, Dragon Ash, M-Flo, Moi Dix Mois; also I love 80's music; rap and R&B
- yeah laugh but I like it; country- Johnny Cash, Wanda Jackson,
Hank Williams Sr, shania twain, alan jackson, dixie chicks, leanne rimes,
patsy cline, loretta lynn, george strait, reba mcintire, charlie
daniels, faith hill. Pretty much I enjoy any music. Music is a part
of my soul, can't live without it. It connects me to and shields me
from the world and other people.
D- food I love asian food, sushi especially, I'm as open minded about
food as I am about music. which is probably why I'm chubby. Try
everything once. I love to cook and experiment with new stuff and I
love cooking for people and using them as my guinea pigs on my
experiments. They don't seem to mind though.
The six things I could never do without
Music, rain/water, my brain, my pets, love/friendship, someone to
talk to and experience things with. I like getting other
observations on things right at that moment.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Music, life, can you
teach a monkey to play the piano,
art,
senses,
dancing, whether or not I'm a good
kisser and of people to practice with, new
recipes, jokes,
biology,
sex, why do people take silly things so
seriously, death, afterlife/rebirth, religion, did I feed the cats,
perception,
touch, fears, has
the milk gone bad, bills, am I gonna be late, should get some sleep
or keep doing what I'm doing, Where's my pic and is the volume up
too high and bothering my roommates, What did I just fall over/walk
into?
On a typical Friday night I am
Watching movies/just existing goofily with friends or at work.
Walking down to the park to go on the swings. Playing in the rain
and dancing around the house cause I can. BORED. Baking new treats,
Painting, jamming along with itunes, daydreaming. Wishing I had an
Oompa Loompa to do my laundry and dishes for me.
I don't really have a "typical" Friday night. Shenanigans happen as
often as quiet nights.
Right now I'd really like to learn how to play pool. So I'm
rousting up friends to go to the pub and help.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
Right now I'm exploring and educating myself about sex and
sensuality and
what I like and don't like. I've been reading books and trying to
learn from my wonderful partners and practice, practice,
practice.
Calm down you dirty minds. ;) That doesn't mean I hop into bed
easily. I'm quite picky; if you can't stimulate my mind you aren't
getting anywhere else to try.
You should message me if
If you want to. I like meeting new people and making new
friends.
But please say something more than "Hi" or "Ur hott"
The arts of conversation can't have declined to that level. Right?
... *crickets chirping* Dammit.
Oh, comments about certain body parts will be ignored. I've been
aware of my chest since puberty. Maybe something different? You
know, I hear my ears are quite charming.
