What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I just began a position as a community organizer for the Energy Justice Network. I'll be gathering strength behind ending the life of the incinerator in Westport (south Baltimore) - a much needed goal in the environmental justice movement.

I also am a survivor advocate, and volunteer at TurnAround. In April I was on a panel discussing the Black Lives Matter movement as it relates to the sexual assault of black women.

Avoiding it like the plague for four years, I finally began grad school last September. I'm pursuing a Masters in Nonprofit Management and Social Entrepreneurship at the University of Baltimore.

And placing my political career on hiatus.

I'm rather jaded by tradition - that is, men making the first move. It's beyond exhausting, and baffles me why we as a generation perpetuate it. So, if I sound potentially interesting, don't hesitate to send a "hi" or more. ^_^
