My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm Michael, though that's a really common name for people born in 1991, so I go by my last name. But I can't tell you that because then you'd be able to Google me and you might find my address and steal my identity or something.

I was a navy brat growing up so I've lived all over the east coast. Now I just try to make wherever I am currently feel like my hometown. The one constant has been my grandma's vacation home on an island in Maine that I usually visit during the summer. The best part about the summer home is that there was no TV there when I was growing up so I got good at staying entertained by being outdoors.

I'm decently athletic, I play Tennis, Ultimate, and I used to play Lacrosse.

I studied Computer Science in college, after graduation I spend a few months in Europe. I'd really like to go back there and continue my travels to all the other continents.

Learning and finding new experiences are my biggest motivations. I'm definitely attracted to intelligence which is good because I'm a bit of a nerd. I still like to party and be social though, I just like to talk about politics, philosophy, and history. I'm an INTP, I don't know if those scores actually mean anything, but Einstein was an INTP so hey, I'll take it.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I recently graduated from University on the east coast and moved 3000 miles for a new job. I am a software tester for Xbox, as in, there's an Xbox sitting on my desk at work, and I don't get in trouble for playing right in front of my boss.

During the week I'm pretty busy with work and the gym, but I go to a lot of concerts with friends when I can. I've also been going bouldering and hiking on weekends. I'm a decent DJ, though lately I haven't been practicing enough.

Sometimes I just go and spend a weekend playing Fallout 3 for 30 hours straight.

My goal in life is to eventually start my own app building business, the end game being that I make enough money to retire and explore the world.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Remembering useless trivia, though I'm terrible at remembering names & other useful things
Soaking up knowledge
Making friends laugh
Mind Puzzles
Designing Computer Software
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have very expressive eyebrows. Several distinct groups of friends have separately told me this. In fact, my coworkers at my old coffee shop job said I didn't even need to speak because they could pick up what I was thinking just from my eyebrows.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Music
Every genre has good and bad songs, and I'll listen to most music, but I especially like Electro House, Rock, Funk, and Metal. If the song has a funky bass line, I probably love it.
Some favorites in no particular order: Chromeo, Franz Ferdinand, Dillon Francis, Green Day, Gramatik, GriZ, Stevie Wonder, Justice, Daft Punk, Metallica, Queen, Sum 41, Bloodhound Gang, The Knocks, Pretty Lights, and Feed Me.

Books
Dune, Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, 1984, Hyperion, The Sun Also Rises, A Farewell To Arms, The Count of Monte Cristo, Meditations (Marcus Aurelius), A Short History of Nearly Everything, The Art of War, I read fantasy, sci-fi, classics, non-fiction, plus all the standard classics you have to read in high school that don't really count. Also I've been listening to this amazing podcast about the history of Rome.

TV Shows
Archer, South Park, Chuck, Futurama! Suits, 30 Rock, Parks & Rec, Breaking Bad, It's Always Sunny, Scrubs, and Mitchell & Webb Look. I love most of HBO's series: Rome, The Wire, Game of Thrones. I basically get all my news from John Stewart and Steven Colbert.

Movies
Snatch, Up, Fight Club, La vita è bella, Toy Story, Life of Brian, American Psycho, Shawshank Redemption, The Bourne Series, and Fargo.

Food
I spend an alarming amount of money on fruit. Other than that I like Chinese food, Italian food (homemade calzones, yum!). When I've been drinking, my stomach often makes strong arguments in favor of a late night seattle dog.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Music
Bed
My sense of humor and general not taking anything too seriously
Technology
My optimistic worldview
Great Food, especially fruit
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
When I'm on the bus I normally dream up fantasies where a gunman gets on the bus, and I bravely disarm him and save everyone.

I like to dream about where I would travel to if I didn't have to work. Or even better I like to think about going back in time to Rome or Greece and see western civilization when it was forming.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
With friends at a concert, I guess. Unless I had a really bad hangover the weekend before, then its probably netflix night.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
In high school I used to pretend I didn't have any emotions, but I realize now that I'm a huge sap. I wasn't able to hold it together when watching Toy story 3 and military homecoming videos hits close to home. This luckily happens when I'm at home alone, so most people don't know this about me.
