I hate small talk and I hate being asked the same questions over and over again. I prefer to start conversations in the middle and just bypass all that "Where are you from/ what do you do/ how old are you......etc" questions. I enjoy getting older because I find that I care less about the things I use to be insecure about and that is one of the greatest things I've achieved.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm in the Navy. I'm stationed in Whidbey Island, WA. I never would have thought I would ever join the military yet somehow here I am. I spend most of my free time reading and playing music. My second home is Blockbuster.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I really enjoyed "A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius" by Dave Eggers. I like all kinds of movies. The Shawshank Redemption, The Three Amigos, American Beauty, Orgasmo, A Knight's Tale and let's not forget The Addams Family.but the movie that stands out in my mind the most is Garden State. Music for me is more about the song rather than the band. When you hear that one great song and you stop everything you're doing without even realizing it. It takes over all your senses. You get goosebumps. You feel like your soul is on fire and you can't help but move your body to the music. That's the kind of music I like. And as for food I am extremely picky. I can't help it. If they could just come up with a once a day pill that gives you all your nutrtition for the day so you wouldnt have to eat, that would make me a very happy person indeed.
