My self-summary
I like to live a life that's a balance of work, fun, friends, family, and nature. I work as a consultant for parts of the year, and then I like to spend the rest of my time doing what I want - working on farms, relaxing, reading, writing, and spending time with people I'm close to. I like variety in my life - sometimes, I look very corporate, and other times I look like bit of a redneck. I like both! I was born and raised in rural Alberta, and I think that's where the redneck comes from. Lol

I'm an open-hearted guy who is a mixture of being free-spirited and a responsible adult - are you? If so, I think you know what to do!
What I’m doing with my life
Right now, I've (happily!) settled back in Toronto after a year of intense travelling. It's so good to be home! I'm looking forward to taking extended time off from consulting this summer to do a bit more farm work, and perhaps work in a coffeehouse for a bit. I like to have a variety of types of work in life - it keeps things interesting!

It seems like people these days are very much into world travel. I've been to many places across the globe, but what I enjoy most are road trips and weekends out of the city.
I’m really good at
Enjoying the simple things in life... Fixing things... And working with my hands.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm a 6'3" bearded brown guy, and I'm wearing a cowboy hat. Lol
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I think that we all know who Sweet Brown is. I've recently co-opted her wise words as my life philosophy. Here are just a few difficult problems where her words can guide you to a rapid resolution:
1. Is your boss being a jerk? "Ain't nobody got time for that!" Find another job and/or tell him exactly what you think of him!
2. The guy you've been dating has been giving you mixed signals? "Ain't nobody got time for that!" Call the guy up, tell him you've been getting mixed signals, and ask him what's up. Don't worry, it's not needy - it's adult communication. Lol
3. Your car keeps breaking down? "Ain't nobody got time for that!" Either get it fixed, or go get yourself a CAA membership!

See? What a great philosophy on life.
The six things I could never do without
My iPhone.
My Macs.
My friends.
My family.
My Mustang.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to live simply, work less, and enjoy life.
On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging out with a friend or two - or crashing early and catching some major Z's!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I love my Mustang, and I've been trying to figure out what my relationship with it is. Partner in crime? Best bud? Trusty steed?

Then it hit me.

Yep - that's it! I have a bromance* with my Mustang!

* So yeah, just to be clear - it's a totally non-sexual relationship. But if that's your thing - hey, no judgement! Whatever turns your crankshaft, right?
